I was looking forward to a Dr. Fate figure but now I'm not too sure about this one with the way premium toys did their Homelander figure.

From the looks of it they might be using the same body. The figure just looks way too buff.

This needed a chrome like finish to really make it pop. Looks more on the cheap side with the way it is.

Helmet shape looks really off as well.

mines out for delivery from giantoys tomorrow Wednesday 27th

crap phone pictures and poses incoming lol

Still using the same horrible thighs and pelvic region similar to their Homelander figure. Easy pass... Not expecting quality out of this release
yeah me too on the not expecting high quality but i might be able to kitbash something half decent out of it

but you know ever the optimist lol

okay so hes just arrived ,pretty much as i expected quite underwhelming overal

comes with a chrome card backdrop that i guess when used replicates the multiple versions of himself
dunno its might work but i doubt ill bother with it

gold chrome is better than i expected
i bought gold chrome pens to retouch the gold
again not sure ill bother now

suit detail with the abbs and runes /mystical pattern is well done
but suit is slightly baggy especialy round the knees and boot tops out of the box
but boots could be removed and suit attached to the ankle pegs to tighten it up and keep it in place stopp the wrinkling

gold pauldrons are hard and fixed so limit shoulder articulation

unmasked head is nicely done but not dead on likeness but could just be the wonky eye paint ,maybe whitening them out would help
and it looks slightly too big to my eyes

boots are non articulated and one piece hard abs plastic ,,

cape is leathery and stiff and is wired sides and bottom

came with a couple of magic effects again ill probably never bother with

and the base body seems undersized or short ,shown here below with the hot toys reeve superman body

not sure if im losing my enthusiasm for the hobby or just the way im feeling but i doubt ill even display him

anyway at least he was cheap and maybe when the black adam figure releases i

might feel different about him
so worth the spend i guess

your mileage may vary lol

Yeah I see what you mean, particularly with his size as the bagginess on parts of his costume. That said, I think for a third party release he is overall pretty good. With the helmet on I think this is a good looking figure based on the pics I have seen.
As far as his size is concerned, I’m not sure how tall he should be, I guess I would need to see him next to Black Adam, but in real life Pierce Brosnan is 6’1”

This arrived a couple days ago but just now opened it .
Seen some bad reviews a few days ago when others got their Doctor Fate / Peirce Brosnan movie version from Black Adam so I was expecting disappointment. Here is a detailed photos of the unboxing and all the problems.
Despite the lower quality that we was hoping for I still like the figure but it doesn't excuse all the problems. The articulation is severely limited due to the gold armor affixed to the outfit . The outfit is bunched up at the knees and can't lower it due to the nonarticulated boots being glued on . The magic effects are useless cause the hands can not hold them and the cape feels cheap almost cardboard like ... wtf !
Still I'm glad someone tried making a Justice Society 1/6 figure since they are my all time favorite Golden Age superheroes.

hey berry i agree on your assessment of the figure and its grown on me over the past few days looking at it and remembering what it cost

but on mine the boots are definitely removable and can be removed and the suit could be taped or glued in place to sort out the bagginess in the knee area

they are kinda stiff and id hold the figure below the knee to prevent the lower leg popping out or breaking but it can be done
