Will see how it is in-hand but these are the main culprits for me:
-Eyes too small and close together (maybe can fix by some repainting to make the eyes pop more)
-Hair needs more volume on top. He has longer and “flowy” hair. Needs some modding to make it look less dry lol
-Not sure if it’s an issue with the body, or the shirt; but looks like he has a short neck and no traps (similar issue as ThreeZero season 7). Probably could improve with a body swap for a longer neck and bigger traps, or maybe the shirt is just too baggy.

I think it’s okay until we get the Inart one (in 2026?)…

Right I agree, we won't really know until the present toys comes out.thanks for the input.
Well mine is on the way and as I looked at the present toys head definitely have to replace it with a different one something ain't right with the eyes. Maybe it'll be different when we get it. Yeah looking back I didn't even know why I asked that. Hopefully I can just get a different head sculpt. Maybe it will look okay who knows I will find out very soon it's on the way.

Switching to a custom sculpt is definitely an investment and could end up costing more than the figure itself! For under $200, though, I think this PT holds up pretty well honestly, and better than the promo shots initially shown. I’d say it even looks better than the Threezero option, the Inart version might be worth looking at in the future, but I’m content with this one for now and can wait a few years before getting the Inart.

I’m planning to give this PT one a fair try as is. I don’t want to dive into major body or paint modifications, but I’m open to small touch-ups or adding some weathering if needed.

The PT body also has a full neck design, so if you wanted to swap in a more detailed custom sculpt or use the Threezero head, that would be an adjustment you’d need to make.

We won't really know until the Present toys one is actually released. The ThreeZero one is already released with reviews available should you wish to watch.

Of course, going by proto pics the Present Toys one looks to be better all around, but we have no idea how that rooted hair will come out looking in production pieces. I think the ThreeZero has the better likeness in the sculpt though

Not great here but I can work with it, I wasn't expecting Inart or HT artisan level for under $200, but I think abit of white dry brushing to the beard and futzing to the hair and it will look decent enough.
I can see Rick in it but its not very strong, but at least the paint apps look solid.

I picked up the parted out pants and boots, can always use those for my customs :)
I just noticed this Rick doesn't have a trigger finger type of seamless arms, abit odd and he wont be able to hold his revolver..

Looks like they expect folks to extend the index/trigger finger from the gripping hand to hold the guns properly

That's what I was thinking, but the pics of the forearms make the fingers on the gripping hand look like they're fused together? Could be lighting..
