Some dry brushing on the beard would really help. Curious to see what people do with that hair. He looks ridiculous straight on.
I understand what you're saying I think I have a body in mind but I got to think about it I did get the trigger finger to work though. I just slicing down between his fingers and it actually worked
Yeah let me know what you figure out what the hair I don't know whether to do gel to try to get something to come down in the front. I finally got them to hold his rifle. But I need to make the head look better
I got my trigger finger to work being that they showed that he had one on the prototype pictures and he didn't.
That's what I'm trying to figure out myself what to do with the hair I have no clue, and I never painted or dry brushed any head sculpts.
Yeah please let me know what you figure out with the hair cuz I'm trying to think myself what to do with it. And any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm loving the look of the inart ones but they ain't going to be out for a while.
Figure is definitely a mixed bag, not great but not exactly terrible, feel like you get what you paid for haha. At $190, I think it's solid representation for a mass produced figure. Is it better than the Threezero? Imo it is not, but it's workable and needs alot of TLC.
Main gripes are,
- No trigger finger, so he can't exactly hold the revolver unless you cut his fingers, like someone has in this group.
- Needs alot of futzing, the shirt is way too baggy and the sleeves don't go done far enough, which can expose the elbow joints.
- Face likeness isn't great, in person the paint comes across as quite tan too.
- The body used is pretty poor and the proportions are abit wonky, too bulky.

Yeah I'm the guy that sliced between the finger to make a trigger finger. But I would love to learn how to do that dry brushing on the beard and what did you do with the hair did you just use hair gel or something and just style it?
For dry brushing, I just used a short bristle brush and dipped some white paint and wiped almost all of it off with a tissue, then simple brush it on lightly. If done right it should just catch the ridges of the beard.
The hair I used water and abit of hair spray mixed in, brush it on the head with a small paint brush. Then styled it with brush and tweezers.
Like I said never done it before but I might give it a shot and practice on something else first so I don't mess it up thanks for the tips.
You could always get this headsculpt for the small price of $1,700. Don't get me wrong great work looks really good but that price I think is maybe a little too high or is it just me? I know a lot of work and effort was put into this and I do understand that and appreciate it but I just think that price is crazy. Just my opinion.

I got that headsculpt (recast) and rooted + painted for about $530
Still pretty expensive tho.

... But yes, in this day and age, that is crazy. Remove yourself from the hobby step outside it if you will, and think about how ******* absurd it is.
