I use this simple heat gun for stiff figures. It's not some industrial device, it's just easier to me than a hair dryer since it has a focused end and only take a little bit to heat up. When I say a little, I mean like 8-10 seconds at a time. Used it plenty with zero issues, although I wouldn't blast it straight at a 1/6 headsculpt. Hands/limbs no problem.

You learned how to properly and effectively use it. Good for you. Not so much for others with did with much presumption believing it's easy and simple.

Just switched the body to a worldbox AT011. It gets better articulation then the stock body. But I needed a inner neck adapter to make it work.

I'm working on weathering the jacket with some fine grit nail files. Taking it slow. Think I'm going to need a custom belt and holster as well. But really loving this figure.

Sorry about the lighting in the room. But just wanted to compare to my Sideshow Indy from 2008. Finally getting replaced.

There is stuff off the SS worth keeping like the pants , satchel, guns and the Idol. The headsculpt in my opinion I think is pretty good but needs good repaint . It's the sculpt I use on my custom Indy.

See my avatar for what happens to your sculpt when using a heat gun by an unprofessional.

LOL! Good one! I used to build a lot of vinyl kits and they would be horribly warped. I actually put the parts in the microwave to soften them. I put a 1/4 Yoda body in there once and damn near burned the house down! There was noxious smoke pouring from the microwave and the kit was on fire when I took it out and threw it in the sink! I'd only just finished wafting the smoke out and dousing the kitchen with air freshener when my folks got home, How they never found out I will never know!

Saw one for bid on ebay. It looks decent. It actually might be good for another custom of mine.
Joints are pretty shoddy on mine, just as a heads up. Like the arms almost sound like they're gonna break when I try to move them, but the legs and body barely hold shape.

Still, not terrible overall though. I'm sticking with it for now.

I see one for 36.00 currently on Ebay and it's not worth it. For that you can get a Worldbox body or a Coo. The Sculpt is nice but the knees and elbows are too loose.
