Preview of PF Abomination is up

I had a feeling this was coming. So, what have we learned today:

1. Save your money for pieces that you truly want. A lot of people were picking up Thing PF on sale even though they were not 100% they wanted it. Companion to Hulk PF? yeah, right. This Abomination is the true PF companion to Hulk PF.

2. Sideshow means business. The know the Marvel PF line is where is at and they are picking the heavy hitters. Daredevil and some Avengers are very likely to be coming sooner rather than later.

3. Shai sold his soul to the devil. It doesn't make any sense that we get this much cool Hulk product even with the recent movie.

I don't see where the confusion comes from. In terms of being a "grail" like Hulk or Doom, the character has to be a pretty popular and well known character. Look at Mystique's numbers, she is hardly an "A" list Marvel character and I would say Abonimation is about as popular as her (Abomination for Hulk fans, Mystique for X based fans) and her numbers were: 800 EX 1250 Reg. I am not contradicting myself or bagging on the piece, it is amazing looking so far. I just think Sideshow is cranking up the ES regardless. I hope they prove me wrong.

I also think, or at least I'm hoping, that Sideshow is beginning to realize their ES errors are coming back to haunt them. I guarantee Mystique will end up being another Thing PF and with the economy doing what it is, they're probably not going to repeat that mistake. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would think that these artificial demand statistics they've been getting from PO numbers have to be hurting their profits.

Sideshow ebbs and flows. Before Mystique hit we had a few PFs but no Comiquettes. After Mystique its been all Comiquettes until now and that was back in June. I guarantee we see a couple more PFs soon enough.

I'm glad for all of the Hulk/Abomination fans out there. (Yes, including Shai.) The detail from what I've seen looks amazing there's no denying that. Congrats to all.

hopefully the current economic conditions will keep flippers away, but since Sideshow won't charge cancellation fees they'll probably order them anyways in hopes of pre-order sales bringing a decent profit.

The Bowen is nice too, straight out of the comic pages IMO....Sideshow as usual, will take a more realistic approach to the sculpt.Both looks good ,and I'll probably buy them both...Of course, If I had to choose just one, I'd take the Sideshow one, just for the size factor.

I've always seen the Abomination as a cross between Hulk and Godzilla....Very cool Marvel Vilain.

With namor, I think they pre-set a ES. But it's received such horrible press here, the orders have not met the quota. They dropped the ball on him like magneto.
