Probably not because then I'd be urged to buy Doom, Goblin, and Mystique (when she comes out), etc. etc. I owned Red Skull in the past and that's what made me realize that I didn't want to display villain pieces. Nothing again those pieces because they look AMAZING! It's just that villains aren't my thing.

yeah, i can see alot of people signing those contracts.
sooner or later (and i can see it coming for me also) i think due to lack of $$$$ or shortage of space to display, we collectors have to make a choice to which way out collections will end up looking like.
it's just so hard to choose from all the nice sht that's out there, while keeping a nice presentable collection.
I have to agree. I've seen very cluttered collection that while impressive in the quantity of different items owned also looks really unprofessional and rather unpleasing to the eyes.
It's like there's so much stuff you end up not appreciating what's there.
I rather be broke by being consistent with the appearance of my collection therefore I have chosen to slowly and patiently begin collecting only Marvel PF's and Comiquettes and that's it.
It will take time but eventually i'll have Doom, IM Red Gold, Goblin, Spidey and now Abomination and add them to my Cap, Wolverine, Thor, Hulk, Thing and soon to arrive Punisher and then call it a day.
And then purchase DD when they finally announce it.

Very smart way of thinking. That's how I feel. And like you were saying before, eventually, you buy so much that you really don't appreciate each individual piece and begin to just buy stuff to say you own it.

I don't own any villians yet but was going for RS (my 1st) AFTER IM but i'm also confused if I even want villians within mine as well.
Really good point and one that i'm on the fence about.
Man it's so awesome to have people that share your same interests to be able to bounce things off.

And because of that "equation," I've had no urge for Doom. I was on the fence about Goblin, but that's long over with.
(Both are amazing pieces though.) There's nothing wrong with them. It's just not my taste. I have all of the SS pieces displayed in my office and every piece is a superhero (except Venom). The vibe is really quite awesome.

if your ever thinking of getting cap and the cap vs skull dio, then i would say get skull, but again if you don't have the room to properly display them together to show the flow and the connection between the PF's and the dio.
then i would stick to one aspect like villians or heroes etc. that way your collection will look better in the end like we were saying.
i have all three, but i also have the room to properly display them. just don't have the displays yet
here's a pic of mine, just taken out for picture day, not on display yet.
same goes for hulk and abomination imo, if you don't have the room then don't get him.
i have kinda gone the matched dio/pf route for now ie. hulk vs spidey, cap vs skull etc. getting both pf's and dios to make some nice displays, but in saying that i may find once i get everything assembled and put on display. i may have to switch things up if it starts to look cluttered.

You see, I actually agree with what your game plan is because it's still within the parameters of keeping things clean, simple and consistent albeit it's a more expensive and space consuming route than just heroes.
Still, hero then villian and then dio of both duking it out is exciting enough to be busy but not look cluttered.
Good (expensive) idea though and no doubt will look nice when all is put together....
