For all who are excited about this choice Congrats, but I have been waiting for an Awesome Daredevil for so long now and have passed on so many because I wanted to see what SSC would do in a PF....looks like I'll still keep waiting.
I like my FS statues to be big and impressive.. I did like the darker hue better.. I hope the base matches Thing/Hulk

We all know how the people at Sideshow tend to wave their magic wands and turn a gem into a steaming pile of poo.
I'm ordering no matter what, but I'm also praying that Sideshow doesn't work their 'poo magic' on this piece.

No, I am very disappointed with this choice as well, I just learned with the Black Queen (which I still say was a terrible let down) that even if a ton of people are upset, we can't change the choice. The Abomination is different though because there are alot of people who are happy with this choice as a companion piece to the Hulk. I am not a big fan of the Hulk, but I know there are alot of Hulk fans here and the Abomination is a good choice for Hulk fans.
I was honestly thinking that a main character from the X-Men series would get some PF love. Sideshow's choices as of late have been very frustrating and confusing.

That rarely happens with the Marvel pieces.
But I dunno if I can justify dropping 400 on some 3rd rate character. Did Bowen even sell out of their Abom's?

Different strokes for different folks. The way I see it, Sideshow is playing it safe with characters that will sell for sure. Anything Hulk and IronMan related is hot nowadays.

Aragorn PF, black Spiderman comiquette, International Thing, and nearly every other paint variant piece (green/grey Hulks are an exception).
I suppose I could have worded it a bit differently to include the Iron Man disappointments and ES shortcomings as well. While not every piece is going to be a hit with everyone, Sideshow really seems to get stuck on repainting and rehashing the same characters. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like I'm left holding my breath until the final product is released on new products, just to see if it's going to be another Aragorn.

Sideshow has had QC problems in the past and I am sure that they will have them in the future. All you can do is hope for the best. Don't let that get in the way of enjoying the hobby.
