I have to agree, apart from everything, this figure is great. Therefore I will pass...

Sam looks pretty awesome, and wait until we see the unpainted prototype or the Jango helmet exclusive!!!

It must be the eyes because everything else about the sculpt seems right.

I didn't say it wasn't a nice sculpt, just that something was off, and something is off with the eyes IMO.

Exactly. The sculpt is excellent. It's just that the eyes are wrong. There is no light or reflection that could make them look like that. I expect another announcement along the same lines as Han.

Not only is the face great, but the expression would fit into a conversation pose with other Jedi or facing off against Jango.


Dave, I think you're right. I think a lot of people don't understand the affect light has especially on scaled down subjucts.

I'm really not seeing that the eyes look light. There does appear to be 2 reflections in his eyes, perhaps one painted and one a real reflection.

I don't know how to explain it other than that. The robe texture is also fairly obvious from the pic I posted.

that pic is WAY over saturated and I doubt it portrays the figure accurately.
I think the nostrils could be flared a little more. Otherwise I believe its just color issues.
