Re: Prime 1 Batman Ninja statue

You think this 1/4 scale will be $1100? I think it would be a tough sell at that level.
I have no clue, I was just picking random numbers out of my head. But the idea is the same.

Re: Prime 1 Batman Ninja statue

Is this confirmed to be 1/4 scale? The photos I’ve seen make it look massive. I’m curious about the price. I hope that it will be in line with their other 1/4 scale offerings/collaborations but the base is so elaborate and that crazy-huge round painting thing? I don’t know. This could get expensive. I think it is a cool piece though.

Re: Prime 1 Batman Ninja statue

I always thought this statue looked nice since it was first revealed a little while ago and especially thought that background looked really cool. However it seems that really cool background piece is an extra USD 300 which I guess makes sense considering how big it is but I was not expecting a 1/4 scale statue to be the same price as their 1/3 line..

Re: Prime 1 Batman Ninja statue

Looks cool design-wise, but there's something about the sculpt that I find lacking, and it's the first time I felt this way about a Prime 1 sculpt. It's not the details: the figure is as detailed as a samurai armor could get, but these details are not as SHARPLY done as what's expected from Prime 1, IMO. Maybe it's intentional, but I think it doesn't look as good as I wish it would. From the details on the stone carvings under Joker's face on the base, to the striations on the "fabric" pants, and how the armors+wraps don't give that much illusion that they are separate, layered pieces.

Sorry for being hyper-critical. Again what I have observed could have been intentional on Prime 1's part.

One thing's for sure, I keep forgetting that this is 1/4 not 1/3, more so after seeing the price tag.

Re: Prime 1 Batman Ninja statue

I can't justify paying $1,000+ for a 1/4 scale statue. That's why I don't own any XM pieces. I'm thankful for companies like F4F that continue improving quality without drastically increasing their prices.

They'd probably be more expensive if F4F ever picked up a DC or Marvel license.

I find it hard to believe that the majority of the price increases we’re seeing are strictly from licensors. Did Marvel tell SS to change Magento to a maquette and charge a $200 premium on top of the premium their 1/4 statues already carry?

Scale is out the window on this piece when talking pricing. This piece's price reflects it massive size. From the cape to the base it's a huge piece, 37" in height! much bigger than normal 1/4, much more in line with P1 1/3 pieces.
