That looks amazing. Not in the market for it, but if I was a statue collector it'd be an instant purchase. Assuming they could pull off that portrait in the production piece.

Comparison to the DarkSide piece.

I actually like the pose on DarkSide's better - the twist on P1BW's seems a bit affected. Better here than on Sideshow's Mandalorian, I guess.

The base on DS's looks quite lackluster compared to that of P1BW's.

Now, the head sculpts. Yeah, the biggest selling point on DS's is the unmasked head... and it does look rough when seen on its own, rather older than she was, but... it seems to work on the statue? The masked sculpt on it, while also the usual DarkSide fare, does look good, too. It actually reminds me a lot of the film poster.

Now, the head on P1BW's looks more lifelike and there's no question that's Pfeiffer's smirk, but here's the thing. We know what to expect from both those companies by now - DarkSide's production piece will probably look very close to what we're seeing now, whereas I'm not near as confident when it comes to P1BW.

Alas, why they did have to look so similar?

Definitely prefer the pose on the DS version. Not a fan of P1's twist (in the torso or the head), feels less confrontational and more playful. DS also has a more focused expression.

Where P1 excels is the execution of the suit. The fine wrinkles, the areas where the stitching comes apart, the difference in texture/finish between the corset and the other elements, it's leagues ahead of DS.

Bit of a shame. There's a lot right with DS' concept, but from a technical standpoint, it looks like it could've come out eight years ago.

Wow, the suit sculpt on this is the most accurate I have seen. They nailed every detail that no other statue has done.

Yeah there's far more detail on P1. DS just looks more stylised but very simple compared to P1's level of detail.

Base - P1 wins to me, DS looks cheap
Face - P1 is more realistic but likeness isn't 100%. DS is perfect IMO
Body - P1 is more realistic, DS is more stylised but still looks good (and curvier)
Winner - both?

definitely liking this one. Surprised there's no bonus unmasked headsculpt. I wouldn't want to get in on this line without a guarantee of at least Batman

It’s more detailed than the DS one, costuming looks great. Sculpt is nice, but DS have the better likeness, plus the u masked sculpt is a great bonus and something no one else has done. Pose is better on the DS too, I prefer the sultry stare more than P1’s playful approach.

I think either would be a good purchase either way.

That’s how 90% of Darksides pieces look unfortunately.

lol this was my first thought too but probably not. for all we know, its probably KAKIM that sculpted and painted that prime1 statue

I dunno, as stated on the other forum, we need to compare this statue to how she looked in Batman Returns, dressed as Catwoman. It's clear to me that the DS likeness is better, as amazing as P1 looks. And then we have the inevitable P1 drop in quality from proto to production. If DS didn't exist it would be a no-brainer as I do love everything about P1's. Unfortunately their likeness is lacking in comparison

Agreed. I don’t think the pose/expression captures the essence of the character.

I think the DS captures the overall vibe of the character better.
