I know art is completely a subjective thing (pose/sculpt etc), but honestly a little part of me has no idea why anyone would truly think the Sideshow version is better. It seems to be about half and half on the other forum as well.

I do understand that for some collectors that for what it is, it may be too big and too expensive. Also that the base may be too detailed and big as there are plenty who prefer simplicity, and heck some don’t even like that it has Batman being beaten to a bloody pulp.

That's all it is ...subjective. People will like different things.

I still think the P1 Bane looks nice. Even though I like the SSC Bane more.

On the other forum some have mentioned that they feel the hands are too big, or positioned unnaturally.

I agree with this but still prefer it to the ss one as it's bigger and the base tells a story. Is good to have choice though, I agree

Do his fists look big to anyone else? I mean proportionally speaking? He seems to have a Hellboy kind of vibe with that. Maybe it's just the angles that he's shot.

This is the greatest statue I've ever seen.

Amazing, and probably the best detail I've seen in a statue, that said I don't know if it is the pose or the big fists with long fingers but the more I look the less appeals to me, I like things in SS better although I recognize this prime1 is top 3 quality piece.

There will always inevitably be another......greatest statue.

And for some reason I doubt it’ll be coming from Sideshow. The recent statues I’ve been seeing being designed by all these other companies have been simply astonishing this past 12 months.

This statue looks awesome - I think at some angles in the pictures it makes the hands look too big but looking at pictures from above looking down, they look proportionate to me

I like this one better then Sideshow's version - I'm running out of room with these Prime 1 pieces

Here's my booth tour from Wonderfest, which has footage of Bane right at the beginning. Other than the fact that it's so big it will be difficult to display for a lot of people, I can't fault it. It looked incredible, and the Batman on the base put it over the top for me. Great piece imo.

I haven't seen it in person but it does appear that way to me. Although his whole body except head is huge so it does make sense. Wish they'd make a less roided up version from the first half of knightfall, as he's also a clever intelligent guy and not just a dumb brute

That’s part of how they gauge the prices.


I own The Shockwave Statue and it appear to be way bigger and a more complicated piece than Jetpower Prime due out next year. Why is Jetpower more?.. the oohs and the ahhs. [emoji23]
