I'm definitely interested with Cloud. Not 100% with the pose but the amount of switch-out is crazy.

I'm sure you guys here have gotten wind of Prime 1's recent Next Level Showcase? (hope I'm not too late to the party, lol)

I can't help but think this is Square's response to gt, acg, sdg and other third parties. But Square being Square, god knows how much they'll be asking for these statues.

Zack and Cloud looks fine, but Sephirot? I'm not so sure

Sephiroth does seem a tad too lanky in that profile shot.

I doubt this is Square's response to GT as these are 1/4 scale statues, completely different playing field and price point.

I am a little worried how much these will cost and I think many will feel priced out, but im guessing $1000-1300 range, Sephiroth maybe abit more. Its overall a simplistic base and design, compared to the Terra they released.

Likeness on all 3 is glorious though.

I’ll take a simple (and clean) design if it prevents it from costing $16,000 like that Terra

I love the face sculpts on these, plus the amount of weapon/arm swap outs on Cloud is fantastic. I’m gonna guess it’ll cost $1500 per statue with the Square Enix tax.

I have to find a way to get these as long as they're closer to the other 1/4 statues and not a Terra situation.

The bases are pretty basic, just a bunch of rocks... this SHOULD be less than $900 for the basic version....

Word from the P1 Facebook group is that these are going up for preorder this year (not available on the Prime 1 website) and should be comparable to the NieR statue pricing, not the Terra Masterline pricing. They have also confirmed other Square Enix licenses.

They are designed so that the bases can be combined to form poses from the game, like the Cloud/Sephiroth Double Helix synergy attack.

The option of doing the Double Helix pose with Cloud and Seph is fun, unfortunately wouldn't be game accurate though as the statue has Cloud in his Ex-SOLDIER outfit, not the 1st Class one.

Now, technically, it would be accurate if you had the Zack statue instead...

I know it’s not apples to apples but I still prefer Gametoys sculpt over these. Even as far as the Cloud face sculpt just looks off to me imo. I’m not a huge statue guy so I’ll stick with Gametoys. Better looking and cheaper price imo.

Yeah think it's more about presence. I prefer the mixed materials 1/6 uses and agree the Cloud likeness is better on the GT. Also don't really like polystone hair, always looks a bit crude to me and brittle as ****. Can't count how many polystone pieces I've got with broken hair.

Another annoying ass thing with these statues is how often the handle and blade on swords end up being crooked/bent because of how they sculpt it in.... you can even see Zack's buster being a bit bent around the handle already.

Nonetheless I'm still probably buy Cloud at least, maybe seph.

Yea I’m a FF7 super fan and own arguably every collectible possible. But man it’s a tough one because these are huge and although awesome they’re not hitting that “omg I must have this” button for me presently.
