Looks good so far. I'll stay interested until I see a gigantic logo that slapped on the base which outs me off like they always do.

As long as it says "estimate" they can charge you whatever it ends up being when it ships. Either that or they are eating some of the shipping so they don't have to pay Chronicle.

Finally got a response back and they said no additional shipping charges would be added.

Wow this looks straight out of the movie and that means money will go straight out of the bank.

I guess we will just have to wait and see, can't imaging them getting such a good discount or eating the costs. Even from now till shipping postage costs could go up, I have a hard time believing they would just absorb that difference.

Looks like I’ll be owning my very first P1 piece. This should be up on Sideshow, right?

Maybe. Chronicle Collectibles has claimed that everything Jurassic related has to be distributed through them. Though Sideshow has been carrying a lot of their products lately so this could end up on Sideshow as well. Im hoping the same happens with the Iron Studios stuff.

I'm not sure Chronicle would want to sell any of the Iron Studio or Prime 1 stuff through Sideshow. Don't know what kind of cut they would get from those companies, but they would definitely have to dig into that if they were then going to distribute to Sideshow. It's possible though.

yeah don't get excited- these will not be out till 2020 earliest with all of Prime 1's constant and long delays

I don't think CC has as much authority as they led us to believe. They supposedly were the only one ones who could sell JP collectibles in the states, and anyone else who wanted to would have to go through them. That's clearly not the case as you can order iron studios pieces directly from their website with very affordable shipping costs. It will likely be the same or at least a similar scenario with Prime 1 and I'm sure these will also be offered through Sideshow.

Sideshow can't distribute P1 JP pieces here unless they make an agreement with CC first. If IS starts shipping direct to US and other Chronicle areas I am sure there is going to be an issue. IS will probably take the orders, but still ship through Chronicle which makes sense because of the low shipping price.
