Man, so freakin' pumped!!! The pics...THE PICS of this. Wow.
Congrats to everyone getting this. I'm hoping QC is top notch for everyone. I'm off work for most of the day on Friday. I got my spot picked out for this. I'm just in heaven right now. Seriously, so happy with how this turned out. Prime really, REALLY did this character justice. So very thankful.

Same. I collected all the 2099 foil cover #1s in the 90s. Think I lost them all though, or buried somewhere.

Sideshow is capable... I mean look at Thanos.
It runs laps around majority of XMs releases.
Its just refreshing to see Prime 1 and Sideshow get the kudos they deserve.
Ive been harsh with Sideshow... but I think their hits exceed their misses.... it just really sucks when you wait years and years for a character that is botched by a factory line paint job that took maybe a couple days.
This looks like a planned effort. Maybe Sideshow consulted with them in the design process but its un-mistakable that Sideshow is a power-house in terms of production

I may be entirely incorrect on this, but my original assumption was that Sideshows involvement was simply to allow Prime 1 to use their 1/4 Marvel licence.
And I think it may be too early to say anything about the Thanos on Throne piece, as their prototypes are always top notch. And as you said, it's usually the factory which drops the ball at the finish line.
But their newest Deadpool from what I heard came out great.

Sideshow doesn't have anything to do with the design or production of the statue. Prime is using them as a distributor.

How is the stability on the base? That piece his right leg is on is pretty sturdy? Not plastic lol?

not sure you are correct with this statue
This is the only piece where I have seen them put on the product page "Developed and manufactured in partnership with Prime 1 Studio" . . . "Manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles"
so I think this piece might be different then the other Prime 1 pieces as far as the partnership goes
