I don't blame Pime for the head sculpts. The portrait is faithful to the game. Unfortunately, Nightwing's portrait design in the AK game was terrible. He looks like Justin Bieber in the game with a Nightwing mask on. The flaw started at the source.

Yeah think I'm going to have to skip Nightwing. I'll get Batgirl and Robin to go with the Bats and hope they do a better representation of him further down the line.
There's so much stuff coming that I'm not that fussed. Just means I can blow the money on another piece!

Did it with a heavy heart but cancelled my Robin last night.
I'm into Prime One 1/3 for the long haul and know that there is going to be a ton of pieces that I will want in the future with all the stuff they are announcing.
And for the money, I want to be blown away by the piece rather than just "that's very nice, I'd like to get that"
Hope someone converts due to my cancellation!
I'll be admiring all your Robins when people get it in hand!

Awesome, looking forward to this. IMO one of the best interpretations of the character that is a nice balance between realism and comics.

^^ yes and the design on this is fantastic. And there are no Robin statues on the market either.

I only cancelled because it's come so close to Harley and Two Face for me. But would have loved to add this to the collection.

I honestly don't care for the character at all. In my world, he doesn't even exist (same with Batgirl). Even though I like Nightwing, I'd never display a Robin statue of any kind. Personally, I like Bats as more of a loner best, with Alfred supporting behind the scenes.
I agree with you for the most part when it comes to Robin. I personally don't like the idea of a child Robin, it's weird and makes little sense to me. But the Arkham iteration of Robin is excellent IMO and probably the only version I'd ever own.

Just not my cup of tea. Like I said, I prefer my Bats working alone. I only liked Robin in the Wolfman and Perez Titans run. That said, I was thrilled to see Grayson ditch the Robin duds for his Nightwing persona. If we never had another Robin after that, I'd have no problem with that.

Yep, but that was because readers voted for him to die. That particular Robin was especially unpopular.
Yeah, if you like or want the Arkham version, that's understandable. I'd pass regardless. The ONLY way I'd have a Robin statue is if SSC released a Perez line of Titans PFs. Even then, I'd probably wait for a Nightwing PF and substitute it for Robin.
I just really never liked Robin or Batgirl. They just don't work for me personally.
Kid sidekicks were introduced when most comic readers were kids. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
There's still plenty of kid characters for the kiddies today. There's the Titans, Super Sons, Young Avengers, and Ms. Marvel just to name a few. I just never liked sidekicks in Batman's world. Bats rouges gallery is particularly vicious and twisted. Kids have no place in those stories IMO. I also think that Bats awesome rogues are cheapened when they are defeated by kiddies.

This thread is crazy! I Love the robin character from reading the comics for over the last 20 years and is essential to Batman, if you follow the continuum in any way or many essential else world stories. How can Batman not have a robin ?! I can't tell you how much I loathe Grant Morrison's Batman Inc run but absolutely love the Son of Batman, or what about Superboy awakening Jason in his Grave after being beaten to death!!! Than manipulated by Talia to join the League! Com'on!!! Nightwing was Batman when the Bat was broke!! Killer stuff. Keeps getting better too, Nightwing is tied to the court of owls, Damian is in Teen Titans, Drake is being held by Mr Oz!!
Point being, Robin is woven so deeply into the fabric of Batman. Look at the DKIII, just awesome!

I like Tim Drake but I hate the shaved head look from the game. I'd get a comic pf from Sideshow or if Prime 1 does one from Hush.
