PO Dec 2016.. Sideshow does not leave the original estimated arrival on the order. After a delay it gets updated. But I think it was July/Aug 2017

It seems 8-9 Months is the Prime 1 window from PO to Shipping.

Just check the email you received when you made your order, as it has the original shipping window estimate on it.

I think most of the 1/3 Justice League line were/are exactly 18 months from preorder to the middle of the expected shipping dates. Well at least Wonder Woman and Superman were as I just checked the emails I received on those.

I'm just going to assume it was closer to about a 11 month window (I usually use the middle month from the shipping window) for pieces that opened for preorder 18 months ago. Whereas items from the past 6 months are closer to a 18 month window.

At least to me this more or less confirms they are learning their lesson and expecting longer production timeframes for their newer pieces. Maybe for the pieces I've ordered for a 2019 release window, I will only get the 1 delay notice, rather than the 2-3 that a few pieces have received.

New Delay notice from Prime 1 for Killer Croc.. now Sept/Oct 2018

So that's an estimated 9-10 month delay (outside the original 3 month delivery window).

So still under a year....for now.

The photo that he's go with it beside Scarecrow, really shows how gigantic this guy is.

Scarecrow is pretty far behind him, doesn't give any sense of scale. Literally any statue that far in front of another statue and at that angle would make the one behind it look small.

You'd need them side by side to appreciate his size properly.

Maybe I should've been more specific, but on the Prime 1 Facebook group, where the original collector (Robert Chen, I think) posted those photos, he also posted photos with Croc and Scarecrow side by side!

I grabbed this from the Facebook group. Though I'm not sure about the etiquette of posting someone else's photo here :slap

Man, that side by side shot is impressive. Croc is HUGE!!!

Yep, just look at the volume difference between those two pieces. You could squish Scarecrow into the volume represented by Crocs legs alone and you might still have space left over.

I don't care much about Scarecrow but this Croc is very impressive, one of my favorite villains. Way too expensive for my budget but I'm sure this will be heavily discounted later

Killer Croc is on the way.. but check out the Shipping from Sideshow.$190 And I live in CA.I know it ships in 2 Boxes, but OUCH!

Damn, and I was expecting the Catwoman sooner rather than later :gah:

And I'm so lucky that I preorder my 'regular' pieces from a local retailer which has 'free shipping', where I lock in my member discounted rates. Otherwise I would get sideswiped by these seriously unexpected shipping rates.

Supposedly the Hot Toys Infinity Gauntlet at minimum $150 USD for Californian residents is already being partially subsidised by Sideshow, so I wonder if the shipping on this piece is or isn't being partially swallowed by Sideshow as well.

This piece looks huge so I'm not surprised at the large shipping cost - still hurts though for those that are buying it.
