This would be my assumption as well.
You can't have a stated ES and a have an NRD, only to raise the ES at a later date. I think some people would go mental if that happened.

Just managed to see this guy locally. Truly breathtaking!

It would be nice to see this at SDCC and have one of the reps there confirm whether or not it is the production version.
With an estimated January '15 release, it's possible they could have a few completed as a test-run model by July.

like I mentioned to the others, I'm not sure if Optimus will weigh in at over 15kgs but i've loaded this base with a particular custom collectible weighing in at just under 20kgs and it still works so I'm sure it'll be cool for Prime

Using turntables is such a cool and professional way of displaying a stand out piece. You see it sometimes displayed this way at museums, conventions or stores and it gives the viewer total satisfaction from seeing the statue in all it's glory from every angle

Late March... yeah I don't think I have much of chance.... I think I'm just going to order the regular version... I'm sure SS will let me switch it over if it does convert.

I thought I read some ware that you could cancel an order and not loose your nrd if you transferred it to another order. Maybe some one can confirm this ?
If this is the case then there's a better chance of yours converting. Here's hoping.

got my Megs... here is what to expect with prime... much bigger than i thought.

here is a pic which better shows size of MEGS.

next to MP10, Nexus 5 & Kindle Paper White... and Sideshow Mythos Boba with the big gun--- this is a big statue but it looks small next to megs... big gun only comes to hand.

also a pic of the three boxes all the parts come in... big boxes... thing must weight 75lbs.

Yep they allow a one time transfer of the NRD as long as you do it over the phone or email, but if you cancel on their website then you have to eat the NRD.

mine converted as well, had to get on the waitlist after registering at a freight forwarding site and with a US address,, but the Simplytoys had some ex in stock, so got one and paid in full for a discount, but still its 300$ more than SS without any reward points
