Starscream does appear to be awkward from that pic, I'm passing solely from lack of space. Same reason I'm not getting Megs.

My WL for the ex just converted but I don't think I want this anymore. He looks to small next to Megatron and Starscream for the price theyre asking. I know it will be super detailed but I think I'm gonna sit this one out

I remember only a month or so ago where some would have cut off their right leg to be in with a chance to own the EX :dunno

has the comparison pics next to Megs put some people off

I thought the Optimus was smaller then Megs in the movies????

Starscream always looked akward in the movies... not a great design.

Yeah pretty weird they really don't know how big Optimus is really ... I saw it In person I can say he's really big just little smaller than megatron...keep in mind megatron has huge base. Pretty confuse with people by judging one single pic.

The size issue is confusing. This is very expensive but not larger than most DC Pc's. Its getting harder to justify 2.3k. That pic next to Megatron did it a disservice. That and I saw Megatron at my lcs and he didnt look like 2k imo. Looked very plastic which I hate

All good reasons mate. I personally am on the edge of cancelling my megatron pre-order and getting the HCG 1:2 Endo. All the delays here in Australia have allowed me to read others reviews on it and it's not the run away hit I was expecting. I'm not sure what to do to be perfectly honest :gah:

the size of Optimus Prime compared to Megatron is one thing but im also beginning to hear lots of bad things about Megatron also...is he really that poorly made as a vast number of collectors have been disappointed with the materials used and describing it as almost plastic looking :dunno

I was never going to get Megatron anyway but I hope this doesn't reflect on how Optimus looks in the flesh...

Megatron is mostly 80% polystone and 20% pure resin(very expensive material) for fragile parts no plastic Prime1 inform that. I dont know where you hear collectors are disappointed but in asia they absolutely loved it... if it was bad how come it sold-out?

There are a number of reviews both on forums and on Youtube reviews where owners have complained about the plastic parts of the statue (or resin as you like to call it) looking and feeling very cheap...and thus are disappointed from that point of view when expecting something of better quality for $2K. I didn't say they thought the whole statue was a flop :slap

all i know pure resin is light material but very expensive 2 to 3x more than Polystone. mostly use for Kit.
If you check Sano Alien kit is made by pure resin thats why is pretty damn expensive for a bust.

I cant imagine Megatron head made by polytsone pretty sure is impossible too fragile.

I just got contact from Prime1 Optimus weight will be around 50kg for everything more than Megatron.

doesn't matter to me as I don't intend to get Megatron but as you know I'm definately looking forward to getting Prime and I'm happy to hear that he'll weigh more than Megatron! :horror
