I'm out. Price is too high imo. I don't see anything incredible about it that warrants the price, but whatev. 20in tall isn't huge by any means, most of the SS 1/4 pieces are that big these days.

They said they're hoping for next week but they don't control when Sideshow puts it up. I'm guessing like a week or two going by the Grimlock release

1,500 is very high for $700 Turtles from a movie noone seems to like.

Really bro? I don't know man, even though some don't like the movie there a LOT of ppl that like/love the movie and that see these as just Turtles. I'm in the batch and I'm not alone. And remember, the Turtle fan base is HUGE and we've had a serious drought. The best statues so far are 1/5 and these are the first ever 1/4 Turtles. I was scared that they might go faster than expected

I'm a Huge fan of TMNT...still haven't seen the movie...will see it soon(prefer seeing it at home with the Bluray and projector). I love character designs...so whether the movie stinks or whatever..doesn't really bother me. I think they did a great job designing the turtles.

I love him. I want him. but 700?... uff. And I have to think of the added costs for getting this thing to europe. man, this might be it for me...
I love Raph. He's my favorite, has always been.....
The movie wasn't that great. finally saw it yesterday after being out of the country for two weeks and the movie only getting released here mid-october. and... meh. it was okay.
I'd love to get Raph and Leo as decent figures. but two times 700+? I'll have to think about that...
especially since I don't have the space for them. and my friends will keep thinking I'm weird. cause it is sad that I'm the only girl I know into these things.
too bad the toy collectors scene here doesn't seem as big here as other places

You should get the characters you want. Its not weird for a girl to collect. Its actually pretty cool that you collect and your friends don't get it because they aren't as cool as you lol.

I can't wait for the other characters. Leo is definitely going to be awesome, minus the bamboo shield he is one of my favourite designs too. I'll be getting all 4.

Prime 1 is not shipping outside Japan this is what they state on their web side. So how fast this is going to sell out it depends on how many SS will have for sale.When the say 55cm height does it include the base? If that's the case I don't thing is that big compare to Batman pf and Superman Pf . Still a nice detail statue though. If am going to get it I ll have to use my reward points ...

I am still waiting for my TWS Cap, so I have to put away money for him.... and I've been on vacation the last weeks, so.... I already spent a lot of money there.
I want Raph, I really do. if only... if only there wasn't the sunglasses, oh why the sunglasses. and if I get Raph I have to get Leo too
he's probably going to look awesome as well.

just in case... I'm gonna warn my friend in japan; maybe I'll get Raph shipped to her from Prime 1 directly, in case I need more time to decide on whether or not I'm getting him. my sister already saw my FB post about Raph and went all "you're not gonna get a 700$ figure, right?... RIGHT?"

Not TMNT fan but i saw this at the summer Wonderfest even without base Raph is very massive, 45 cm keep in mind hes in crouching pose.
imagine them with all four... pretty epic and cost a lot of space.

About the Threezero 1/6 i cant stand to see horrible joint.

Exactly. It's all sculpted too. I don't see the detail being that impressive.

It's hard enough dropping $400 a pop on a non-essential item just because of my nerd compulsions. I don't need to near double the drain on my wallet for a movie item...especially when I'm not that fond of the film.

Hmmm Edition size 2500 to 3000 for Hulk of course he should be cheaper. still cannot compare Prime1 quality.

Pretty much they know minimum quantity before announce it. but yeah bigger Edition size will make the product cheaper.
Anyway at 699$ with Prime1 quality is very good price. I might pick them up after watching the movie next year in Japan
