Why does new Riddler look like a hobo?
That look -- or the 'Irish thug' look -- does not scream 'super-genius' to me.

Riddler is a dandy, he is vain about his appearance as he is vain in just about every other measure.
This looks better than the Evil-Dead Riddler Sideshow are making, but I do wish companies just gave us a more classic looking Riddler before feeling the need to "mix it up by" being "edgy".
Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised by the full reveal.

I have a feeling it has to do with that basically being his look in the Arkham games. With those games being so popular, I guess his design began to gravitate towards that look
