No, he's an orphan in the process of becoming deaf and blind, who scrimped and saved and sold organs (his eyes and ears perhaps?) and ate out of dumpsters and shopped at Goodwill and any other manner of things that prove some kind of point, the likes of which I imagine he spends a lot of time proving, all so that he could finance his collection and come here to find sympathy that he obviously doesn't need.
