has anyone else got a problem that when they display their Cap PF with the Ultron head? On mine there is a 5-6mm gap between the bottom of Cap's foot and the top of Ultrons head. You can clearly see the peg. I'm not sure if the peg hasn't been imbedded deep enough in Cap's foot or whether the hole in Ultrons head hasn't been drilled deep enough?......

Actually, I think I remember having that problem initially. I just broke out the ol' cordless drill and went to town. No problem. :D

Seriously, though, I did have a problem with it not going all the way in. I just jiggled it a little bit, and, after a few nerve-wracking minutes, it finally slipped in.

 Heh. Actually, that kinda reminds me of this one night with a University of Illinois cheerleader...

:rotfl :rotfl

P.S which bit did you modify? peg or head?

:monkey3

As is the case with the Cap PF, it's not necessarily about the length of the peg, or the depth of the hole, but the angle of insertion. ;)

Oh, lord. Ban me now, or bring me a woman...

Are you positive about that, Monk? I was right over the base as I put the statue peg, uh hum, in the hole.

Wait a minute. Let me look.

..................

Yep. All the way in. :chew

 Wait. We were talking about the statue again? Oh. Well, that's in, too. :D

Try this for a minute: Take the Ultron head off the base and plug it into Cap's foot. Then, with the head attached to the foot (you'll likely have to hold it on), fiddle with the base and the head until you get it in.

Thanks Monk

I'll give that a try. I did try the head loose against the peg but didn't jiggle it :lol

i think this is the most relevant place to ask instead of writing a new post

i've been told that the cap's cloth clothing especially the white are will get dirtier and what not over time....how do u guys prevent this? what are your tips of cleaning and preventing?

Not exactly sure about the cloth.

I use a light brush for dusting. Fading is another issue, if i'm not mistaken. The environment in which he is displayed may be the biggest factor for cloth.

Hmmm...just took Cap of the base and tried to jiggle his foot into Ultron's head an no joy.....

Tiny gap on mine if you look at it at eye-level, I think the Nazi Helmet base is a slightly bigger, so I'm guessing they made it big enough to accomodate that...need to swap the bases around again myself out of curiosity actually.
