Okay....found the waitlist for the exclusive...probably pissing in the wind here, but...I'll give it a go...

It was Python's excellent outdoor shots that convinced me...just looks fantastic.

I got on the EX waitlist on Aug 31st. Went on Sideshow live chat last week and they said a conversion is very unlikely as most have been shipped out.

Same day i jumped on the waitlist as well. Would like the ex but no biggie if it doesn't convert as i'll pick up the regular in a month or so if not.
 
Just got an email from Sideshow saying they have no more stock of the exclusive and waitlist will be cancelled.

They have offered me 10% off the regular though, which is tempting.

Nice. That makes him slightly more expensive than CDUK but you get him in around a week, quicker, and Reward Points.
 
I'd go for it, the ex is nice, but not necessary tbh, I have it put away in a detolf. The big guy is on display at my desk and looks awesome!

I agree - Take it! Great statue, pics just don't do it. It will impress you right out of the box.

Got the same email... Was only offered 10% off the regular edition though... Congrats on youe score there...not sure if I'm going to go for it...
 
Just purchased an EX from the board here. The photos and high praise in this thread made me jump on this. Glad to add him the the aliens universe.
 
Congratulations, nice to see more people coming around to this one. It was a slow burner for sure but once you have it in hand, it is hard not to love it...
 
Received mine today from Sideshow, only took 3 days. :)

It feels very light compared to other statues of this size, but it certainly a very nice piece. I really like it.

I'll post some pics over the weekend.
