Travolta did suck.

I liked War Zone too and thought that Stevenson did a badass job in that role. It would've been cool to see how Jane did a complete full-on badass Punisher. We got to see a bit of that in the end scene of the movie. I wish he could've done a sequel.

Tom Jane will always be the Punisher for me. It's the best of the 3. The first one was ok. Warzone certainly had the violence down but the script and acting were ____! I hated the fact that Frank killed the cop. I know it was accidentally but the Punisher (in the comics) vowed if he ever let a innocent die in his war he'd kill himself.

My favorite scene in the 2004 was the final battle. One thing that I loved about that scene was the Punisher gets shot several times. In a lot of action movies the hero never gets hit so I thought this played out a bit more realistically.

My favorite line is:

Made you kill your wife
Made you kill your best friend
and now, I've killed you

My only criticism of the film was it need to more graphic. I mean you got a R rating mise well use it to full effect. Heck even if they added blood squibs every time somebody got shot would have been good.

I never realized how much hate there is for Travolta.

So there's no Face Off fans here?

that mark collie song is awesome. it was used for undertaker promos in the wwe just before wrestlemania and it was perfect for that too.

What's the difference The Punisher comic and The Punisher Max comic?

Punisher MAX is set outside of the Marvel Universe so no super powered characters appear, it is also an Adults only title due to violence, language and sex. The Punisher's origin is the same for the most part as the Marvel Universe counter part though in MAX they still recognize that he was in Vietnam so Frank is in his 60's age wise. Those are the basic differences.

I thought there was a confirmed Thomas Jane figure in the works dammit. That movie was awesome especially at the end when he almost commited suicide. very emotional Scene.

I prefer the MAX title by Far! The first 60 issues were all done by Garth Ennis and are his best work, the series is now in the Hands of Jason Aaron and he is doing some really compelling stuff, some of the best of his career IMHO. Plus I don't feel that Frank works that well in the long term when in the regular Marvel Universe, when they start having him mix it up with super heroes and super villains it just doesn't work for me, And yes I know the character appeared the first time in Spider-Man but he has come along way since then. I will say that I do enjoy the new ongoing Marvel Universe Punisher title by Greg Rukka as well, he is doing an interesting take and the art is really nice....but if forced to only buy one it would be Punisher MAX.

I prefer the MAX series nowadays. Definitely not for kids.. Those Ennis issues got pretty crazy :lol

If you want to see Frank getting involved with the MU, go for the regular series. There's some really good stuff to be had there too.

Yeah. Notice where it says:

- Authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Thomas Jane as Frank Castle in the movie The Punisher

:goodpost::exactly::clap

I must admit that I'm really really enjoying the new MAX under Aaron. He has been taking Frank to some new places and it's awesome!

I also met Aaron last August and got him to sign issue #1 of Punisher Max. He's super nice and friendly. He looks intimidating but he's really soft spoken which caught me off guard. After we talked for a bit (and got my picture with him) he thanked me in such a genuine way for being a reader:)

Super cool guy:lecture

I thought that movie was amazing. I'd give it an A but the critics hated it. What are your feelings on that movie?

But he was a bit too thin to play the Punisher who is a huge hulking man. But who cares.

I thought that he would be a bit more muscled up, but still I was pleasantly surprise. Far better than the first.
