Might have to agree with you on this one RB. The EX doesn't appeal that much to me to warrant paying huge taxes to import it...a regular from a local retailer will do just fine if I decide to go for it. Congrats to all those who have PO'd him

I've never known production costs to go down, personally or professionally. You can want all you want but it is what it is. It just sounds like people have gotten spoiled.

No problem... I think it's a very nice piece that was let down by a very average EX.

I just figured most here who were very upset about the lack of the head/more weapons/tiny knife, would pass and get the Reg. Unless they are hoping it retains it's value.

If you love it then get the EX. Also It's not my style of Punisher so I guess I just see it as an easy pass because of that. I guess if I loved it then I would order the EX also since it will be the same price on SS site and I like getting the reward points and the SS CS even if I don't like the EX.

Pass for me as well. The Ex isn't worth it. Nice piece and I really wanted to buy it with the COH but without it I don't want it. Saved me some money that I can put towards WW. Congrats to those that bought this guy though.

Call me cynical but I don't think a $10 increase is going to get you more than any other PF they've put out. I'm not defending it, but you guys are calling for more weapons and switch outs over a $10 increase. I just don't think it's going to happen. The PF's have been in the $325 to $350 rang for quite a while and while I hate to think there's another increase coming, it's not something people hadn't been talking about for a while now.

Am I upset he didn't come with a COH, sure. But neither did Scarlet Witch and she was only $10 cheaper. Yet Storm did and she was only $325.

People are going to face it, the Exclusive is just an incentive to buy from direct from Sideshow. If you don't like it, then don't buy it.

I'm still undecided. Even if I do order this, I can see me only having 1-2 pre-orders from SS ever again. The value for the price has never been there and the gulf keeps increasing while quality has taken a nosedive.

JAWS you understand completely. Hopefully SS won't reveal production pieces without knowing they're 100% approved in the future. Somehow, I feel like it wasn't Marvel though and I think SS just wanted to save production cost and make a bigger profit. They lost a sale with me on this piece but I'm sure others will buy it.

Well, this is my last piece Ill order from SS unless its something I just gotta have. I feel bad because of what I was told, then passed onto you guys. Honestly had no idea they were gonna scrap it like that. And the excuse I got would just piss you guys off even more. Ill keep it to myself since I already look like a fool in pumping this piece up, and it completely flopping. I really thought SS was gonna hit a homerun with this, but instead they let a lot of people down. And really.....they dont care. The statue is nice and to me, as a Punisher fan, worth it. And $10 extra isnt gonna break me. And depending on whether or not the current head is removable or not.....Im gonna sculpt my own battle damaged head for it. Problem solved for me. Now.....Im done beating that dead horse.

I do too, I liked the COH. But, if all they're going to give me is the knife for the EX I guess I can buy a regular elsewhere at a discount.

But I've wanted them to do a new Punisher PF for a while and this reminds me of the Zeck Punisher I first saw when i was a kid. So I will get one, from where is just the question.

But he'll look good next to the Daredevil PF, when ever they finally do that.

The statue is far from a flop. I think the beat up head was a cool idea but not the best idea.

Perhaps more weapons that you could strap on to the figure or a different base with shell casings, discarded gun, etc. would have been more ideal.

Your right, I would have been more stoked if they had just given him additional weapons instead of that weak knife. But over all the best Punisher In My Opinion to date. Plus I have a soft spot for the classic.

I was definitely bummed about the head but I preordered him anyway. I still think the piece is outstanding. I do wish he had some more weapons but I prefer this to the muscled out comiquette. I had a 50 dollar sideshow credit that I used that helped get the sting out a little.

The original PF is better. More dynamic pose. Love that he looks like he's gone guns a blazing. The anatomy on the arms is awesome and the fact it's based off of Bradstreet's work makes it better. Glad I own it! I may get this one as I am a Punisher fan, but the fact we don't get that awesome bruised up face makes it... bleah.

I'm sorry for you as well, and I'm glad you shared the info with us. I hope you provide more insight in the future. We'll just take the info and the basics and anything that is perceived as potential EX items I'll take with a grain of salt. I'm bummed just as much as you are that they didn't include the EX Head, and if it wasn't a licensing issue that's even more vexing and disappointing.
