Wow I am having a good week. I wasnt sold on this at first, but it grew on me. The more I thought about it the more convinced I became that I didnt need Deadpool to want this piece. Pre-Ordered the EX when it went up, and scored a Loki Hot Toys same night after it sold out...

Funny thing is, as I was ordering it, I figured I was being foolish because it would be around awhile. That confirmation I received today that my CC had been charged the NRD...

Apparently it has sold out and come back into stock like 9 times. There was some speculation that the last one would be the final time. I didn't realize it had been up for PO so long. I had gotten the TAX20 email and wanted to use the code on something, and when I logged in Loki showed as 'checking inventory.' Same deal with Black Widow, but she stayed sold out after Loki came back up for sale, so I jumped on her waitlist. Apparently the world of Hot Toys moves quickly!

I didn't even hesitate to pull the trigger on Agent Coulson as a result. Wish I had been around when Nick Fury and Hawkeye were available, they are going for crazy prices (more so Nick Fury).

I am not even really planning on collecting Hot Toys, I just think the movie Avengers line is really well done. Already had Thor and an Iron Man in the bag. Hulk looks like a toy though...

Anyway, back to Punisher, the classic uniform grows on you the more you look at this piece. I am hardly wowed by the butter knife, but I do eat a lot of Jam, so an extra knife can't hurt. Besides its a 2014 release, so aside from eating the deposit, this is one I don't have to think about for awhile.

BTW I have to find the book. But he was in spiderman 178? I remember buying a number of them. So yes frank was in his 30s to start with.

It seems strange to be upset about where you are on the waitlist. If you wanted it that bad why not order it when it was in stock. You can't just expect to pass then get to be the first on the waitlist. Your in on the first day that's not bad.

I don't like the EX but the 350 ES makes up for it IMO. Overall I like the statue and will get a reg if my waitlist doesn't convert.

I waitlisted because my credit card is hurting at the moment. Even a couple NRDs on EXs I'm not crazy about as far as the accessory is concerned (Punisher knife and Sup Heat Vision) are extra charges I don't need. I'm just playing around with the emotion icons. Not "upset" at all. If I was upset the only thing that would bother me is that I stayed up as long as I could for Punisher Ex to go waitlist even woke up every hour on the hour to check lol but still missed it by about 25 min give or take. No big deal though. Plus it helps not to have to forfeit NRD if I do need to cancel for any reason.

Yeah it's funny, hate it, then love it cause of the low ES.

I got on the WL for this one, but not because of the ES, but because I always do it with statues I'm not 100% sure about. If it converts I may keep it, I may not. Still think the Com is the one to own...

I agree the com is the way to go but I'm not paying ebay prices for it so this is a good 2nd option.
