I know what you mean about the sleeves, I can't sew worth a damn though. As far as the rubber sleeves go I'm considering using Tamya polycarb paint. It's flexy. I will experiment with some paints & stuff on the fingers on rubber gloves first though. I'll let you know how it works out.

Oh, I used a silver sharpie on some pieces & it gives a great distressed silver look

Also watched the film & noticed the shotgun on the back has a loop between the shoulder blades as well as a large pocket across the middle of the back where the end of the barrel goes. Ugly, but it works.

For some reason I think I got the wrong boots. I was sure they were lace jobs. Have to watch it again when I have some time

Well i didn't sew my vest! I just cut the shoulder and then glue it. It's not simple and a bit risky nut it works.
Will try to take some pics soon to show you.

fart, was gonna buy paint to make the feathers on the arrows the correct colors. Gotta wait another 6 days. That's what happens when you work 6 days a week.

Here's my reworked vest.
I have shorten the shoulder and shorten the length also to be screen accurate.
Now the proportions looks better. I also modded the neckpiece with real leather.

Also i completely repainted the skull. The original wasn't big enough and i wanted a more smudgy look to it.

Also i located 3 knives. One near is belt buckle, i add one near the leg holster and one at the back of his belt as well as the holster. I add a strap on his back for the shotgun also.

He's coming along nicely i think.

Belt now done, knife added. I still think I gotta re do the boots. Repainting the feathers on the arrows.

Nice sculpt. You should do another version of Thomas with a little less hair, like the way he looks on HBO's "Hung" or in "The Mist", or even "The Tripper" with a handle bar mustache. I'd be proud to have any of those figures on my shelf! View attachment 18796
