I received some more parts for my Punisher last week - finally got the right boots and pants for him. Placed an order the the berettas and pistol clip holder and a some other minor parts. Should try to paint up the skull logo this weekend with any luck.

Got the 1.5 Ray head in yesterday, glueing t the neck post now.

Wow. Just wow. I just love this head now. Before I was happy with it. Now I love it. Z really outdid himself this one looks super professional. A huge improvement is an understatement.

Im going to do another build with the old head for my brother. I'm going to take the opportunity to perfect a few of the things that were bugging me about the last. namely the berettas and their lack of protuding mags and a few other things.

Damn, repainting the 1.5 for the second time. Major mess up, but as I say sometimes there are happy accidents.

fast update
Working on the second version of the vest to use the 1.5 head & Maggiccs fantastic neck piece.

Anyway the fabric glue is drying & it looks super screen accurate. It has the 1/3/1/3/1 layout in the straps & all. Integrated groin piece, not a piece patched in. I'll post images as soon as I can.

update

New & final vest is nearly done. Skull painted & distressed. I think this should be 10% screen accurate. Now has 4 diff colors in the skull: white, black, blue & gray. Subtle but can be seen.

Z's 1.5 in the works. VERY happy with what he's done. I mean damn, the original was great, subtle but impressive changes. It really comes alive when painting.

Stumbled on a new technique again to achieve more realistic skin tones. See, if I wouldn't have messed up the first go at the 1.5 I wouldn't have come across this. Happy accidents.

Will post images as soon as I can.

Yesterday I got in the final parts to make my punisher complete. I'm really and truely 99 percent happy with it!

Aside from the 1.5 head mod this revise includes...

1) pants and boots swapped out for the ones that came with loading toys shooter
2) 100 percent new screen accurate watch
3) perfect bicep pockets provided by Elvis.(Thanks Elvis!)
4) a completely revised and almost perfect accurate super magnum
5) revised proper berettas with accurate protruding mags that actually fit into the chest holster like they are supposed to

the only thing I feel now may not be 100 percent accurate are the MmA style gloves( I tried to replace them with real gloves like Elvis did but I did not like the look at all.) and the subtle shape differences in the vest though all the straps details and skull are all accurate.

I'll post pictures very soon!

Can't wait to see knucklefunger's new paint job!

Ray
It sounds fantastic. The Loading Toys boots really are the closest thing I've seen.

BTW I'm still waiting to hear if Lonnie got that magnum for casting. I'll email him Monday. Would like to get it done up. Punisher is naked without it.

I hear ya with the gloves. Tried cloth & hated the look. The HT UFC gloves are fine. I swaped them out to the HT Dutch gloves, also the extra L hand for the cigar works well enough to hold a Beretta.

Look forward to seeing your revised Ray.

Skin tones are done, need to do the stubble, hair eyes, brows. Then done.

I went with a different base skin tone this time around. Did a lot of image searches & Ray has a slightly pink tone to his skin. I hope to not disappoint. I really want to nail this one.

I thought about the dutch gloves but wondered it they were too high on the top? especially since he needs a watch. Thanks for the tips on the LT boots, they are a lot more accurate than the ones I had before!

Anyways heres just a couple real quick and dirty shots. Nothing special, more, nicer shots and more details to come in a few days!

Perfection Ray, seriously. Beautiful & inspired work.

Yeah, you are so right on the gloves. They are a little high. I ended up putting the watch around the glove. It can at least be seen now. Were it on the arm it would be way to high.

No problem with the boots. I did a few screen caps to see what they were like. Those babies are the closest thing avail.

If you don't mind me asking, which holster is that for the chest? It's dead perfect.

NICE WORK LOBO
Very expressive photos. Brilliant & very Bradstreet. Cudos
The vest is off the hook!

Clear coat drying. Eyes & brows left. That's it. Then to complete the vest.

Oops. just noticed I don't have a Hot Toys body. I tried the Soldier Story & it gives him a giraffe neck. So I'll have to get a HT.

Why can't I let this fig go? OCD?

The vest was made by two great artist:
Elvis 1976 and Sir Eaton FlipFlop from (OSW), the only thing I do was retouch the skull and remake the collar neck.
Joey, thanks for your words.:D

Ray, nearly done the head. One final clear coat, then gloss the eyes. I still think I need to tone down the skull some.

Ok, head 1.5 is done. Been a slow process with work & a few family medical emergencies. But will post images as soon as I can.

Also, the front panel of the vest is complete. I decided to leave the vertical straps off, I know it's not accurate, but I love the look better. Otherwise, it's dead on for style & shape. Could not be happier with the result.

Will try to share images soon. Also have a few tips on how to make the vest a little easier to construct & fit properly.

Ha, beautiful Elvis, I wouldn't steer yo wrong. I wasn't gonna put the vertical straps on, but after seeing them on yours it looks great. Haven't had time to do much, to many real life dramas lately. Hopefully soon.

Will contact Lonnie to see if he's received the monster magnum for casting
