Yea based on that one weird image likeness isn't strongest. Gonna wait till tomorrow for the final judgement. I don't get rooted hair figures but this one gonna be exception.

Pure Art is a hit and miss for me but can't wait to see how they do with this.

I'm getting the impression from you guys that PureArts isn't the bastion of quality one would hope! I don't have any experience of their products, but was considering the wildly expensive 1/2 Scale Ciri - I tried to see if there were any unboxing videos for the 1/2 Scale Geralt, but couldn't find anything - I did see a promo for their 1/2 Scale Assassins Creed piece - and that looked janky, to be honest - even at 1/2 scale.

So what do you think the odds are that the 1/2 scale Ciri will turn out even close to the prototype?

Yeah hard to say since they haven't released anything with hair like that yet. Well dimitrescu I guess but that's a 1/4 polystone with hair. The hair on that was just okay and the paint apps are also just okay when you compare it to HT/Queen/Infinity/JND. The paint apps are just a bit flat and cartoony.

For their 1/2 Geralt heir prototype photos look pretty good but the actual statue they shown at shows is ROUGH looking with very messy hair. Could just be bad futzing but it's hard to put your faith into a nearly $4000 after shipping piece like this.

Thanks! It looks like PureArts is kinda on the same quality level as Prime1 - judging by that Dimitrescu piece. Real glossy paint apps, giving that "toy" like effect

As for the Geralt, yep - he does look rough - at least the hair anyway.....

I think I'll keep Ciri on the back burner - I have a crap ton of pre-orders right now with Infinity and JND - so it ain't like I don't need a break

You mentioned PureArts ‘might’ make a Geralt 3 years ago, had it been in the works that long ago or was it just a hunch?

Of all the companies to give, PureArts gets this. Sad. Only thing worse would be if StarAce got it. Not preordering anything until I see production photos. No way they keep up with the quality on the prototype.

I have their cyberpunk figure and bike and it's the weakest licensed 1/6 figure I have. They'll probably improve but not expecting HT quality. Might be a bit rough but better than the 3rd party options.

Yup, same here. The Cyberpunk line is on par with some of SWToy's figures. Although to be fair, it was among some of their first releases. Maybe they've improved?
Either way, I'd definitely lower my expectations until the full reveal.

Wow, $370 for that thing?! That should be $100 at the most. It looks so basic and toy like. Now I’m worried lol.

Yeah wish some other company did this but if they are going wool hair they might be spending money to get it to be great. And I'm sure it will cost InArt range price wise. Let's hope it's good and final product is good otherwise what a waste of potential.
