The real question is why hasn't QMx re-issued the extremely popular and long sold out McCoy?
Especially now that he'll be the only one left without the printed wrist braids.

This supposed to be remedied with a Mirror McCoy.....Especially now that he'll be the only one left without the printed wrist braids.
So I don’t have any of the TOS figures yet (Kirk and Spock are in my BBTS Pile of Loot), what is the difference with the wrist braids?Especially now that he'll be the only one left without the printed wrist braids.

Ah I see. Thanks for the info. I’m looking at tracking down a McCoy (probably have to resort to eBay) and was just curious if I needed to watch for anything. I remember hearing they were delicate.the old ones are plastic the new ones are real.

I’m curious if there’s any moving forward with Star Trek from QMX since Nanjin’s departure.Wonder if QMx will re-issue Bones sometime in the near future. I mean, they have to know there is a fairly big demand for him.

I don’t know the exact details, but Nanjin was the person who was overseeing the Star Trek line for QMX. Very passionate fan of the franchise. I don’t know what exactly led to his departure but he left QMX sometime late last year. From what I gather reading the thread it seems like things are a bit up in the air as to what happens next.OK, I'm sorry, I've been away for a awhile for a couple of years and just came back to the forum a few days a go. So I'm not at all familiar with this whole Nanjin history. Is there a quick one-sentence summary someone can throw out there for me so i can understand what everybody is talking about?
Just got my Kirk and Spock from BBTS, first two of this line. Amazing. Exceeded expectations.
I'd buy a McCoy re-release in a heartbeat and I'm sure anyone else who owns the new Kirk and Spock would too.
Surely QMX will do a rerelease?!?
For the price point being under $200 I think the Star Trek figures are really as impressive or more so than figures by other companies. I mean as much as I like Hot Toys if they ever touched Trek I doubt that a) they’d do as many figures as QMX and b) if they did I’d bet they’d be well over $200.Just got my Kirk and Spock from BBTS, first two of this line. QMX wasn’t perfect with this line, but giving us six TOS characters and one TNG character under $200 each was pretty impressive in my opinion.
I would think it would make sense, but who really knows. I just want to know if they’ll fulfill the open pre-orders they have for Scotty and Sulu or if they’ll be cancelled. I’ll begrudgingly overpay for a McCoy, but it’ll suck if I have to track down three figures in the aftermarket. Although I might end up with Khan too. He’s not as essential to me, but just another to add to the lineup.
