I think the Uhura costume in Mirror Mirror is much less sexy than Uhura in her regular uniform in the 2nd season .
BTW Scotty in Mirror Mirror looks like Puss in Boots, and Idon?t like Kirk either, only Goaty Spock is fun watching. MHO

I already proto'd Mirror except Kirk and Sulu. Spock was easy. Just put McCoy's formal uniform on and mirror insignia.

Just buy a Hulk Hogan figure as a sparring partner and go for it. Once Kirk learns how comfy they are even when in a masculine bear hug he can start lobbying Starfleet for pyjama uniforms.

Problem is, that I don't dare to take off the boots. They seem to be on so tight, I would not want to destroy the leather by screwing with them.

Second problem is, the red pants are closed at the bottom (they were done for medieval figures). I guess it would look odd putting that OVER the boots. So I'll have to cut it open, and then cut off the picture where the feet start, to give the right impression.

I felt very guilty cutting an ankle hole in the Mego TMP uniform for custom Decker but my guilt was assuaged slightly as one of the legs already had a hole.

With an Uhura Mirror Exclusive, I could opened another series of figures, Mirror Universe characters. Every versions of Spock sculpts that I have, has a Goatee Spock. TOS without Mirror is a perfect picture without a frame. Btw, Scott supposed to have a Mirror exclusive, and he would only cost another USD20 or 25 and should not be above 200

Did I miss something? McCoy's formal uniform? The one he wore in Journey to Babel and elswhere? In 1/6 scale at QMx?

if you meant the tos boots, just pull them off. Don't need to bother with the zipper.

I am not going to advertise someone's stuffs. This scotty and any heads with all the previously 1/6 trek released belongs to QMx.

As of now, I am keeping every thing under a lid.

I think I have mentioned, I believe collecting 1/6 Trek should be an enjoyable process, before, waiting, and after purchase. Even disappointments should be a mean to create a greater excitement for a future date.

It has already begun behind the scene.

So, to avoid spoiling the funs in the pots, I will continue following my plan.

Hopefully red uniform movie Kirk & Spock are near the beginning of the releases. I except to be in Trek for the long haul for at least TOS, TNG and all the movies but those two are at the absolute top of my list specifically from TWOK although TUC will also fill that need.

I swapped Kirk onto a different coo model body with no difficulty.

Sounds great if you mean that future Trek figures will be far better than the QMx generation!

So I got my Captain’s Chair that I ordered from Walmart today. It surprised me because Walmart sent me an email about a delay with the order.

It came by FedEx from some company in Illinois (can’t remember what the name of the company is without looking). The box was pretty well packaged, and as far as I can tell the chair looks new. The art box looks like it may have had a small price sticker or something on it that didn’t fully come off, but not a big deal.

I originally ordered mine on September 22nd. The order was canceled and I was refunded. I re-ordered on the 28th and that order is now showing as "cancellation pending". Strangely, FedEx showed up with the chair today. It shipped from a company called RJW warehousing which holds the inventory for another 3rd party company called THIBEN. I'm guessing Walmart's 3rd party order tracking isn't the best. I'm sure you'll get yours soon.

Oh yeah, I was trying to recall how well endowed was Nichelle. I'm unconvinced that any woman has natural boobs as big as these busty figures. I don?t understand why they don't make more figures with more... subtle dimensions. I suppose the male bodies are also idealised, just less obviously so. I will see what the less busty body looks like.

The less busty triad body arrived but it didn't look as good for Uhura; the huge boobs really add to the optical illusion of extra curves because they make the uniform tighter and shorter. The spare hands were good though.. I swapped my Windstorm head onto the second Triad body so I can swap the second Uhura sculpt back onto the Windstorm body and all is well again. Well, apart from the stitching on Uhura's yellow uniform coming undone. She really is bursting at the seams.

I will get them both painted at the same time and see which one to keep as my principal placeholder. The Triad bodies are not made to last from what I can see.

Thats how the TOS mamas carried their toys. All my securities have utility belts. The belts also have drop down (magnet attached) phaser holder ?Velcro? just like what they used with the securities in S2 and S3 (one of them used dropped down phaser Velcro)
