Our Facebook group "Sixth Scale Universe" has a monthly contest and many of my pictures are made especially for these. This month's theme is "Seeing double".

I called it "Who am I anyway" - Kirk in one of his doubting moments.

That phaser won't be fired. If anyone the galaxy can successfully talk a robot or computer device into self destructing its Jim Kirk

I just had to order one of those robots. I know it's not Trek, but it really works well with that crew.

Only the front panel.

Looks good. I guess I could place a single light behind the panel and paint it with transparent Tamiya colors to get a similar effect, but lighting kits are just a bit too out of my league. I'm tempted to get the robot just for displaying with the QMX Star Trek figures, I'm not a Lost In Space fan.
If only there was a inexpensive NOMAD model kit.

I've seen a kit on EBay

That's exactly what I did, connected to a single 9V battery. Going to try a magnetic 12V magnetic reed relay on the inside, fasten a small magnet to the robot power supply, & see it that works as an on/off switch.

Man, I'm going through 6th scale figure withdrawals and can't seem to pull the trigger on one of these cause it'll snowball into the whole set...I need a push, which is the better figure, Kirk or Spock?
