That's like the overwhelming majority of people who will buy figures and I'm sure QMx knows this - you don't have to be Vulcan to know that McCoy was the logical choice for the third figure.

Yeah even if I had the space and money, I probably wouldn't bother with supporting characters like Sulu, Uhura, Geordi, Troi etc.

The only crew I might consider getting a complete set of is DS9's, since those characters were all really complex and much better developed than in any other series. But I highly doubt we'll even see much made for that show.

I know I'm the eternal optimist, but I think there is a good chance of getting some DS9 figures: I'm quite sure we'll be seeing a Worf figure from STNG at some point, so then we are mostly talking a uniform and hair style change. If QMx is bringing us 'Hell on Wheels' (and right now that's a big "if") then there's you're Chief O'Brien head sculpt, and at the very least someone needs to produce a Captain Sisko. Time will tell.

Yeah that Colm Meaney would probably be a bit too old and heavy for use as O'Brien.

Besides that, how many people would buy an O'Brien figure to make manufacturing it even worth it? I mean, if you really want to burn money, just use a match.

It's not necessarily my first choice, but if there were existing head sculpts the idea would be to get just the head second hand and customize from there. Again for fans interested in additional characters that may never be mass produced, it's often fun to think outside the box.

Ooo - a Gorn and a Klingon would be perfect. And I'm not really interested in Scotty unless I get Uhura, Chekov, and Sulu to complete the bridge crew. Kirk, Spock, and McCoy are the holy trinity, but once you start getting outside of that you need the whole crew.

I do. It's actually a great show.

But... Back on topic...

I ordered Kirk through QMX. I hope that they stick yo the shipping at the end of July date. I'm really looking forward to getting this one. I wonder if after Kirk, Spock and McCoy they will do some TNG figures?

But you said Walker...I'm assuming you're referring to the obvious choice with that. I think you're the first to say that and for some reason...that sounds mighty likely.

Given the fact that they also called Dr McCoy a 'new license' on Facebook, I still think this is all just a language based miscommunication, and the only 'western' based figure we'll be seeing revealed is Jayne from oft quoted 'space western', Firefly.

We'll see soon enough, I guess.
