Almost looks like Lee Majors in his Six Million Dollar Man days as Kirk.

Like to see new 12" SMDM figures. Maybe when the SBDM movie comes out...

You know I gotta say, as much as I was wanting the utility belts and phaser rifle, I think the figures probably look best when you keep things looking a lot cleaner and simpler.

I got these out of their boxes and they are stunning.

One question to those that also received theirs:

Do these figures seem just a tad too tall in comparison to other 1/6 figures?

Maybe when they appear next to another company's figure, for me they are not too noticeable, not as bad as SS ver. 1 Vader.

Isn't that Sandy a little short for a trooper?

Aren't they all short?

Not to mention that back in 1968, the lower quality television resolutions made it easy for the show to replace the brown utility belts with smaller black ones that had Velcro fasteners, and also get away with placing Velcro strips down the pant legs.

Anyways, I've just confirmation that my order has bee reviewed, so I can now look forward to these guys gracing my shelves in the near future. I'm sure on that day, I'll open up the season 1 blue ray box and each a disc for inspiration.

Kirk really turned out great!

This looks fantastic! What a great likeness. And I love the body and the accuracy of the tailoring on the uniforms. I was NOT planning on adding 1/6 Star Trek to my collecting as Hot Toys Marvel and Classic Star Wars are already an investment, but this is hard to resist.

I can see myself getting classic Kirk, Spock and McCoy and the Wrath of Khan figures they teased looks promising too. Yikes!

Man ...Kirk arrived today with his head unattached. How do you tape up the plastic seeing the head isn't attached..ugh. It doesn't look broken but I'll find out this weekend when I have time to play

Mine was detached too. It just comes undone in shipping, it's easily pushed back onto the ball joint in the chest. No problems.
