Yeah, my x-acto knife got quite a workout slicing the tape. I stopped counting at 20 (four on the clear outside bag alone).

But, great, great figures. I'm in for all of them. And any accessory sets or environments..............

Too much tape!

I got my set today, and found the trays held together with a LOT of tape. Other than that, fantastic figures! I'm especially impressed by Kirk; this is the only figure to truly nail the Shatner likeness. Spock is great, too, but it's easier to pull off the Nimoy sculpt.

I'm really blown away by these! I think the sculpts, accessories, and clothing are up there with Hot Toys -- and cheaper, too. Ordering McCoy will be a no-brainer.

LOL I'm always happy to know I am not the only crazy one in the world ;)

Guys, there is one tiny complaint I have. The holes in some of my (I mean Kirk's or Spock's of course) hands are a bit too short and not as deep as the others and therefore the hands easily fall off when I try to pose them. Do you think I could try to drill them a bit deeper? I don't want to damage anything but it is really bothering me.

I'd first try putting a little piece of painter's or masking tape on the wrist peg and then push the hand on the peg. Don't place so little tape that it will get stuck inside the hand hole, or so much that it sticks out obviously. Going this route will increase the size of the peg and add a little friction to prevent it from pulling off too easily, and make it easy to clean up if it doesn't work out or if you decide to sell the figure.

Deepening the hole of the hand will work. Don't enlarge the hole but just deepening it with control.

Darkness, what GORN is that? Is that Playmates? He looks awesome! Does he have articulation? I'm not sure if that is a rubber suit or statue.

It's the polystone statue from Hollywood Collectibles.

Not sure what that is behind it :)

The things behind the Gorn statue (which looks great by the way, Darkness Predator), remind me of the creatures in the Vin Diesel movie "Pitch Black".

Very cool stuff DP. I really dig that Gorn statue, he fits in great. I hope we get some aliens at some point, Klingon, Gorn, and Andorian, and Orion Slave Girl Vina top my want list, oh and Romulans. After HTs did Gomora from Guardians of the Galaxy, I figured Vina wouldn't be too difficult to do.

Since Phicen brought forth their new technology, visible joints on figures is pretty much outdated. It comes down to how much companies want to invest. She would be very worth it. :)

Phicen uses Slicone (I've never seen silicone crack over time), but no one knows what HT is using. Maybe whatever was cheapest that month or whatever they got from Storm Collectibles.

Pixel, do you own any Phicen figures? How do they stand up? I read a lot of good things about them. Thanks.

Thanks. I want all of those as well. :hi5: I was looking at fabric the other day thinking it was perfect for an Orion.

The stainless steel skeleton Phicen bodies are great. I'm glad they have different sizes now. The S16 and S17 are on the way to me now.
