I'm spending ~500€ on that BCS Tommeh. I couldn't handle an InArt one too, but Jesus the difference would be night and day...

I wonder what the two new licenses are, too. Well, not too long now, basically a month.

Imagine turning down InArt for The Boys license because you’re satisfied with what Star Ace has been producing…

Most likely it’s a legal issue of rights exclusivity but- my God -whoever made that deal from The Boys merchandise department needs a performance evaluation asap.
You’d hope there would be a clause in place allowing Amazon to withdraw the license due to misuse, shoddy quality, poor sales etc. all of which apply to Star Ace.

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for the Kravitz figure. Initially, a third party release would have done for me but it’s extremely unlikely that any could produce a head sculpt of the quality required to stand on the same shelf as IA’s Battinson- so I shall splash the cash once more.

6) Tried for Peaky Blinders and The Boys, rejected as have existing contracts.
This one is just a bummer. Why give it to Star Ace or let them have an exclusive contract to the line when they've done nothing but put out complete crap from it while charging $300-$350. Such a damn shame Inart couldn't get it. Really good use of the license there Star Ace, thanks a lot.. 🤡

Glad to hear that they're at least pushing for Kravitz Catwoman and I wonder what those two global licenses will be.

Yeah, have a real feeling about Terminator. Bond would be amazing too. They talk like these new licenses are going to take up a significant amount of release slots so they must be reasonably big properties at least. Sadly it doesn’t sound like they’re Alien, Predator or Burton’s Batman.

Would love it if they got Terminator. Hot Toys hasn't done anything with the line for roughly 7 years now? I imagine they would have lost the license by now so I'm hoping Inart can swoop in and pick it up.

Beetlejuice and Terminator

Beetlejuice is the dream for me - probably one of my favourite movies ever, have watched it since before I could speak or walk and have loved it my entire life. I would buy "showtime" stripe suit Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice with the carnival head and hammer arms, Beetlejuice in his red wedding suit, Beetlejuice in his guide outfit from when he first emerges from his grave, Lydia in her red wedding dress, Tom and Barbra in their "monsterous" looks.....
Seriously I really hope you are right with this guess...

Also Terminator! I need a T-1000 for my collection and the secondary Ebay prices are crazy.
I love my T2 HT DX battle damaged Arnie and struggle to see how Inart could improve - but would love to see them try and for a new figure to fill the void for those without him as again the secondary market prices are crazy.

An InArt T2 battle-damaged T-800 would be awesome (as good as the HT DX is)...

I can totally see a $1,000 two-pack of clean T-800 with glasses and a full battle-damaged T-800 missing his arm. That would make a great set.
I like how you think Wor-Gar
That DX battle damaged figure is in my opinion probably one of the best figures HT have ever done even all these years later its just incredible.

As long as they start with Connery Bond then have at it InArt. Gut instinct says Bond means Daniel Craig in China.

I think you guys are getting your hopes up and looking way too far back in time for these new mystery licenses.
Is Beetlejuice hot **** in China or relevant in modern pop culture? If not, they have little incentive to go there.

Terminator would be awesome and HT really should have no right to a stronghold on the license after utterly neglecting it for years- but there hasn’t been a decent Terminator movie since T2 so the current state of the franchise as a whole hurts its desirability.

Judging from their already announced licenses and recent attempt to secure Peaky Blinders and The Boys, very popular, modern properties is where I think we should be looking.

Sticking with WB, it’ll probably just be Suicide Squad and The Suicide Squad…
As you can see, I like to keep my expectations low.

You are probably right. But I still think Bond, only because John mentioned it so many times on different shows. Seems they really want that license. But I agree, likely mostly for a couple Craigs.

Judging from those Peaky Blinders and The Boys comments we should be looking more at the likes of House of the Dragon and Rings of Power as serious possibilities.

However, those new global licenses don’t necessarily have to have huge appeal to the Chinese market.
