We’ve heard from collectors curious about the meaning behind our collectible grade icons, so we’ve created an infographic that briefly explains them, and wanted to take this opportunity to go into more detail as well.
Our three current grades are named after various elements: Argentum, Platinum and Rhodium.
Argentum is our standard grade, where we offer our highly detailed collectibles with a standard selection of accessories.
Platinum is our second grade, where we incorporate more elaborate dioramas in figures such as our Dark Knight Joker and Batman (2022). This grade goes the extra mile for those who love the characters to make them stand out in a collection.
Rhodium is our highest grade, where we strive to create the definitive prestige collectible, with a wide variety of head sculpts, dioramas, and clothing sets, leaving no stone unturned in our quest to do so. Our Joker (2019) figure is an example of what we aim to achieve when all stops are pulled.

This is such messy marketing. 1) it doesn’t even make sense or correlate to the pricing and 2) using random elements is confusing. Not everyone knows Rhodium is one of the rarest metals on earth and I wouldn’t be surprised if most people assume Platinum would be the highest tier. Also Argentum is literally silver.Statement from InArt on Facebook. Not sure this really makes sense.
For example, Legolas is more expensive than Aragorn and Batman, yet Aragorn and Batman both comes with many more accessories. So if Legolas is on a lower tier than those figures, why is it more expensive?
Also nobody knows what the **** Argentum and Rhodium are, if you need to have a tier system just go with the classic Silver, Gold, Platinum or something.
I also don’t recall seeing these tiers listed anywhere on the product pages. This is such messy marketing. 1) it doesn’t even make sense or correlate to the pricing and 2) using random elements is confusing. On top of all of that, putting your products into tiers is just going to piss everybody off and it’s 100% unnecessary. How does this serve them in any way? People are just going to order the lines that they want for their collection.
My undergrad marketing professor is crying somewhere right now.
Unless this is a new format for them, and $500 for the lower tiered figure is now the starting point. But it's also hard to gauge because they left Aragorn, Gandalf and the Ledger Joker off that graphic. And where does that leave the sculpted hair versions? Surely if they release Snape and Boromir and whoever else they'll do a sculpted hair version, what tier do this fall into?I also don’t recall seeing these tiers listed anywhere on the product pages.
If they’re going to have tiers they need to be priced accordingly. You can’t be selling a lower tier figure for higher price than figures in the tier above.
