It’s crazy how many times the panels ask dumb questions, things that have been expounded on before only for them to repeat and state the obvious in the livestreams. And what’s worse is that most times, if not all, they don’t ask great follow up clarification or confirmation questions.

What also hurts and muddies the livestreams is that the panels also don’t have great knowledge regarding the source material and designs. For example, when it comes to Matrix talk, it’s obvious Will doesn’t know that there’s two main Neo looks. Matrix 1 and Matrix 2/3. All Will knows is that there’s Matrix 1 and 4 since well, that’s what Hot Toys have made. Because of that, that’s the only clarification we get: that it won’t be Matrix 4 Neo. But me personally, I’m still left wondering okay great, but is it M1 or M2/3!?

Oh no.... Can anyone confirm this?
Last update I remember there was a contract issue......

Yeah, I remember hearing there was something with the contract and difficulties getting the likeness approved, which is a shame since I really would've liked a kind of out-of-left-field figure like Zixia. I love my DC and LoTR, but I also like really unexpected figures, too.

They said they’re aiming to put up “10-12” SKUs up for PO this year.

I bet it’d be the following:

Q1: Sun Wukong

Q1-Q2: Rick, Daryl, Negan (after CNY)

Q3: Catwoman (“mid-year, June or July”)

Q4: Batfleck (“light armor only in December”), Frodo (maybe), Sam (maybe), Wonder Woman (maybe), TDK Batman (maybe) ****Johnny said Frodo and Sam could see a late 2025 announcement, but most likely early 2026. He pretty much said the same for WW and TDK Batman.****

They also said Thorin and Snape as well for PO this year. Along with (2) Chainsaw Man figures and (1) more? Wukong line figure.

That’s 10 sure-fire POs with a handful of maybes. Imo, I think it checks out lol
Thanks for the clarification! I forgot about Thorin and Snape going up for preorder this year. I wish we could get clearer answers from InArt, but I do appreciate that they throw us little bits of information here and there. I think I'm just pissed that WW hasn't gone up for preorder yet, so my patience has worn thin haha

Between relying on the YT panels for info, translations and language barriers, and INART’s R&D ever changing nature and process (typical), I think they do their best with transparency. But I know that’s just me.

I’m also looking forward to BvS WW and agree we should’ve seen it already. I guess I don’t grow that impatient cause I’m busy working my way with other figures in the meantime lol

Chainsaw Man actually had 3 figures displayed in 2023- Denji, Chainsaw Man, and Makima. Chainsaw Man is the alter ego of Denji, so it remains to be seen if he'll be a two pack or not. Either way, I'd guess those are the two or three they're talking about.

They said the next Wukong figure would be Zhu Bajie, Wukong's pig-man friend. They did show Erlang Shen from Black Myth also in Malaysia, so I'm surprised he wasn't mentioned last week.
