Wow, this is getting better and better every time I hear about it. I've wanted Tarratino's take on a Western forever.

Now if he'd just do a sci fi film next...

Filming:
“Evergreen Plantation will be closed to the public Thursday, February 23rd, Friday the 24th and then February 27th thru March 10, 2012 for the filming of a major motion picture. That's not even a decision. Mad Med is one of the best shows ever made. Outside of McShane's performance Deadwood is completely missable. There is a reason it was canceled.

You saw a few episodes and gave up and now you like Taco Bell.

I've seen all it had to offer. The writing is horrible. The lead can't act to save his life. Calamity Jane is one of the worst characters ever filmed on any level, she's up there with Jar-Jar. The dialouge is completely out of place and over the top, not to mention the historical accuracy they toss aside. McShane is great. Hawkes is under used. Canceled series. Another attempt with John from Cincinnati, another canceled series, another attempt with Luck another soon to be canceled series. Milch finally gives up.

I don't like Taco Bell. But I will try a Dorito Taco in 3 days time.

edit: And just to be clear. I don't think Deadwood is the worst thing ever made. Through the majority of it's ____ there's some good. I just think if one missed it when it aired it's not worth back tracking to watch now and when put up against Mad Men it's an even easier decision.

They make dorito tacos??? let me know if there any good and mad men for the win :hi5:

Jar Jar Binks :lol I'm still going to bust your balls about the tacos because I find it funny, and while I agree about John from Cincinnati being pretty bad, mainly do to the overall concept, the rest of that is crazy talk. I don't know what saw enough means, but if you didn't see and give no credit to Jim Beaver, Garrett Dillahunt or Mcraney you clearly didn't see "enough." Plus by your own admittance you can't stand Tim Olyphant, which most people would disagree with.

IMO, Mad Men is carried by Hamm and Slattery, I just get way too bored of the plots after a few episodes. Your honestly the only person I know who doesn't like Deadwood and with your taste I'm shocked. The acting on this show is the most solid overall cast I've personally seen in TV. I dare say Tarantino also recognises it's greatness which is why he's filming there and cast McRaney for his own Western.

Quentin Tarantino is currently busy shooting his slavery-era spaghetti western Django Unchained, and now the first images from the set have landed online. We get our first look at Christoph Waltz in character as a German bounty hunter who teams up with an escaped slave (Jamie Foxx) who’s bent on rescuing his wife from an evil plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio). It’s not much, but the sight of Waltz decked out in his period gear has me giddy at the thought of a Tarantino-fied full blown Western

I caved and read the script. I'm sure it will be different from the draft I read but regardless this is going to be a blast.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt drops out due to his busy schedule. That is a real shame.
