His pm's were rude, demanding and even a hidden threat was in there but he makes me laugh cause on the internet he's a tough guy like everyone else but his wife has his balls so threats don't really work and I don't take kindly to them either

You didn't say that at the beginning...
That changes everything!
I'd pay him but it would be in my time, maybe $10 a week as the wife controls all the money :wink1:

Haha ya I should have done that I thought about it but decided to give the little boy his ball money back cause he needs it more than I do

HaHa. Sounds like a guy I had a run in with about 4 years ago over at OSW.

I was looking in the WTB thread and saw a post from a guy who was looking for a Kyle Reese figure. (ie would pay someone to put one together for him).

I was building my own at the time and through sourcing parts I had enough stuff for half of a second figure so I got in touch and told him if he shot me the money t (as a deposit) I would buy the rest of the parts and put one together for him. I was only gonna charge him a hundred bucks for the figure.

Anyway he writes back saying his wife wouldn't go for that and he wasn't allowed to shop online.

After I stopped laughing I sent back an email telling him to tell his wife I was a trustworthy guy and bought and sold stuff all the time and had lots of happy customers and had never ripped anyone off.

Then he got mad. Telling me not to talk about his wife and it was none of my business and he would never buy my stupid doll and I could shove it.

So I finished the figure and sold it on eBay for $52 more than I was going to charge him.

Ya sounds just like this monkey I just dealt with, I had more than one of the figures I was selling which are sold now and kept insisting that I didn't have the figures I was even selling haha cause I was bumping my ads which I have lots on my sales thread so he was just trying to come up with any excuse just to try and get his balls and dignity back, I said I would send any pic that he wanted and he refused cause he wasn't allowed to buy them cause his boss/wife said no. I was in hysterics also because that is so pathetic. I have about 15 feedbacks on here, a decent amount of posts and over 200 positive feedback on ebay and same here I'm not out to rip anyone off. I know they will sell even tho I had to turn down other interested members because he paid a deposit and said he wanted them until the boss said no toys for you that's my money haha, I almost feel bad for him that he has to live with that but at the same time I can't stop laughing at him

I'd have to agree with the general theme here... it's an annoyance, but not really fair to keep the guys money. I find myself going back and forth on accepting payment plans or not and about half the time I get burned on doing it. But sometimes its just easier to assume the seller will come through rather than turn down a sale.

Okay, I think we've answered the question and as usual, the thread is taking a turn for the near-inappropriate. Thread closed.
