Question about Marvel PF Prices

I saw the Green Hulk PF at one of my LCS and I had no idea he was so big, I mean I knew he was big, but wow, I was in shock for a few minutes. The guy there was selling it for $1000, and it's a good thing I'm not much of a Hulk fan, otherwise I would probably be looking for one myself. Even then though I don't know if I would fork out that kind of cash for it, maybe $600 at the most. After seeing him in person though, it is one very, very, very impressive statue.

The HULK pf is amazing, I paid 700 plus shipping back in April (but the price was getting hot back then because of the movie release)! 600 shipped is a great deal I would say.

WOW I passed up one that was offered to me for 600 shipped about a month ago...

Depending on location, (safe/insured) shipping may easily cost you another $100 on this piece.

This is not the Hulk I have in mind. We definitely deserve a better one, which looks seriously angry, (not dumb faced) and with better pose.

I like the look of the current Hulk, but I still hope we get another. (Plus that way I don't have to pay $2000 for it )

Yes. But who knows when that will come.
I e-mailed my retailer asking him when it's coming, so we'll see.
(I'll probably get the same 'ol answer... we don't know, we have'nt been updated yet)

I was in FLA for vacation early December and a LCS had a Thor PF.
I had to have one, my Christmas present to myself. About a week later I picked up Thing. I would really love a Green Hulk too. Great pose!
I received my 1:1 IM yesterday, Awesome! Its hard to watch movies in the
theater without thinking he is going to fly off!

I too got the Marvel PF bug in late winter of last year! I picked up Thor from Big Bad Toy Store and have since added the Green Hulk, Captain America, & Dr. Doom. The reason I really love this Hulk is because its based on the Kirby/Gil Kane rendition where he has a wide, protruding forehead (more of that neanderthal look). I prefer it to the current version where he has pretty much a standard looking face.

Yeah i love the fact its a Kirby hulk, Classic hulk... The pose and face are perfect. Theres nothing i would change.

The Hulk PF seems to get one of two comments; love it or hate it. I definitely can see why some people love it, he really is huge and the sculpting is bar none. I just can't get past his face...he looks confused or dumbfounded. I really want a Hulk PF, but I will hold out for a WWH or a Modern Hulk that looks seriously angry.

I agree, the Thing piece is impressive. I can't imagine seeing my first Hulk PF in person!
I gotta have one. I just love the size of the PFs, there is no ignoring them. Everyone who has seen my Thor and Thing are just in awe. Does anyone have the Mystique in hand. I would really like to see pics of her!
