Bump....

The reason i ask is that I finally took my Scarface out of the box last night, and that voice chip body is driving me f'n crazy. I want to put him on a standard SS body, I cant deal with the lack of articulation.

King, why don't you just boil his head off and see. At best: you find the answer to your question. At worst: you get the chip wet and it is ruined and your still happy.

His head pops off very easy, that not a prob at all. I just wont to know if it will fit on a standard Art S Buck body. Are all of SS heads interchangeable?

Seems like I actually remember Les saying that Art Buck figures have different neck posts so you have to glue heads to Art Buck bodies.

Les, do I have that right?

Dude!! I just saw this thread! Sorry about the wait, but yes ALL SSC Male heads are interchangeable... Not a problem switching them out. The only thing different about the voice body is the torso with the electronics within. :D The Art Buck can be annoying as the original head is glued on and needs to be cut off or the glue has to be removed.

Taco Jesus strikes again!! Does anyone need water turned into Pico De Gallo? :lol

Try PMing Mickey or Les would be a good bet.

I'd help if I could King.

In my experience there are at least two different neck posts on the females. I think all the male heads are same but I don't have an art buck to compare.

I'd be interested to know.

Excellent. Thank you so much!

Thanks too Azrael.

I just cant stand that voice chip torso!! I hate it!

Now does anyone have a Art to sell me for very cheap:D

You might have got a quicker answer if this was posted in the general forum section since most people who would know about this only look there.
I have yet to remove a voice chip body's head, but I did pull back the head on my R. Lee Ermey figure and it looks to be designed the complete opposite of the standard head. The head has a post that goes into the body rather then the body having a post that goes into the head.
Here's a page that doesn't really elaborate about the differences of the sound head but does compare most of the basic bodies.

Wow, that pretty damn cheap. Are they good to deal with?
I wouldn't bother, the way the head is designed I don't think you will be able to switch to a regular Sideshow body.

Edit:
Alright, I went ahead and took R. Lee Ermey's head off and it's exactly what I said, the head is the male part, the body is the female part. that's the opposite of regular Sideshow heads. You also don't "boil and pop", you just unscrew the screws in the back. If you want this on a regular body, you will have to extensively modify.
