Question about SS heads?

Unless Sideshow changed the way the heads connect on the newer voice chip bodies, they are not compatible.

Ok, hers a pic of the head and neck joint. Is this vastly diferent from the standard Art S Buck neck???

No That's Very different then the R. Lee Ermey figure. It looks like they changed the neck joint for Scar Face.
You shouldn't have a problem with switching it over to a regular body.

The Ermey figure in question is the Extra Salty Ermey. So it looks like they made the change before Scarface since I don't know of another Voice chip figure in between the two.

OOPS!!!!!!!!

Well since I had two classic Freddys, one damaged around the head due to the hat issue, I figured I would just strip him down put Scarface's clothes on him,switch out heads and, BAM, problem solved.


Well, I BROKE Freddys head off I had to dig the portion of the neck joint out of the bottom of Freddys head, so thats why you dont see it in the pic.

Now I will be looking for 2 Art S. Bucks

I did however prove, without a doubt, that heads from voice chip bodies(at least Scarfaces') and heads from Art bodies are interchangeable.

well that sucks, but yeah OJI is good to deal w/. very relaible and fast. shipping's a tiny bit high IMO. like a buck or 2.

Make sure you use the boil and pop method King. If you just try rip it off you are likely to damage the neck joint as well.

I'll be sure to boil this time Dont want another Freddy incident.

I used a blow dryer and figured i had heated it up enough, and it looked like it was about to come of then SNAP.

Definitely boil next time!
