question about Triad headsculpts

The black male actors dont necisarilly need to be exact likeness because to do so limits its usefulness.

same goes with some female models.

it would be awsome if tried came back with 5 new males and females new bodies plenty to pick from since they have been getting better at design and and bodies. and the eyes and faces are looking better.

I still think their needs to be a better looking black male head sculpt if they produced 2 black males they would be awsome.

Last I heard/read, the DEXTER figure got final license approvals from all parties.

The final head sculpt will supposedly be different than the initial prototype version we've seen.

Remember, that resulted in a C&D to certain SSF members because the likeness rights belong to them. Not sure about House.

The last I heard, Triad's license arrangement with HOUSE M.D. lapsed.

IMHO . . . the "bootlegs" didn't help and besides . . . the show ended last year.

DEXTER recently ended their season and the next season will be the last so hopefully Triad's version will see light of day this year (hopefully).

Idris Elba would be great. I imagine we'll see him produced by some company at some point for Thor, Pacific Rim, Prometheus or Luther. I'd like a Taye Diggs for a Cleric Brandt bash myself. Boris Kodjoe would be good for Resident Evil. Also black actresses/entertainers like Halle Berry, Beyonce, Rihanna would also be good.

Triad should re-release some of their more popular pieces like Harley Chic 3.0 which are a pain to get, and Equilibrium, which took me months to find two of the black fabric versions and still can't find the leather look. Most collectors aren't into dress up. Produce pieces that can be used to create movie/TV looks. I personally have no interest in the generic stuff. I think they need to look at what the community is looking for specifically for bashing purposes.

I can't think of a single figure I'd want using anyone from this list.

DML produced a LL COOL J head sculpt back in 2003 when they produced a few figures from the SWAT film.

Triad produced a TAYE DIGGS head sculpt based on the character he portrayed from the film EQUILIBRIUM, but it was limited edition run head, outfit, & weapons set (i.e. DX set) from when Triad first started to produced 1:6 offerings.

thank you if i didn't see it on osw and it looked terrible. I posted everything i said here on triads facebook page to see if they will make the changes. they did listen to me with the female headsculpts and thats how we ended up with Rose and michelle.

GEE . . . it "reads" like you're taking credit for how/why Triad Toys came up the Michelle & Rose head sculpt. Whatever.



Hopefully, the upcoming ethnic head sculpts will provide some variety to utilize with their African American & Hispanic ALPHA bodies.

I've known you on the Triad Toys Forum (before it went away) and all this time you thought that the THE ENFORCER FINAL DX set head was Djimon Hounsou instead of Taye Diggs?

"Back then", I know a lot of collectors (myself included) on the Triad Toys Forum thought the head sculpt was very good ("back then"). Granted, that was how many years ago? I guess part of is that likenesses & resemblances when it comes to sculpting have improved since then and we as collectors are more demanding & exacting nowadays.

Triad did utilize a head sculpt resembling Djimon Hounsou for their first run of OMEGA male base body figures. The head sculpt was quite good IMHO.

Alpha necks are too long and wide to accept non-Triad heads.

That is one common view echoed about the ALPHA bodies. The neck is too big to accommodate heads from other companies; however, like you collectors have made modifications.

Well i knida pestered them to make a red head that looked red not strawberry blond or carrot red for 1 yr i think they did it to make me shut up. Now i have pestered them for a year about black models and gavee them a list of exactly what made the curent one doesnt work and i told them they need an evo form in ethnic and eva so we shall see if they listened.

It's not that im taking credit it's just nice to see they listned even though i dont like skin tone for the red head since most are light pinkish skin tone. so thats the only thing i forgot to mention was skin tone for red heads.

michele was just a suggestion on hair style and a cute color to go with it. i didnt think they would actually make her because i only mentioned it once. so that was a plesant surprise
