question: Transferring PERS?

hey all you customizers, I was wondering if anyone of you think they're able to properly convert the PERS eyes of the DX joker to the bank robber sculpt without completely ruining the bank robber!
So my question: Can you make holes where the bank robbers eyes are, nicely, making them look like the eyes of the DX? I'd be mighty impressed/interested in that!

Which head? The smirking one or the angry head?

If the one made for the mask then I would just paint the "cop" head from the DX figure.

no, the stern/serious head, the one which looks like the PERS is just a modified version of.. I think if someone would be able to create holes where his eyes are it shouldnt be too hard to do..

Well, basically the DX isnt at that a high stake of getting ruined, since you could just put the eyes back, or am I wrong?

here, in this PERS demo vid, you can see it looks like the pers eyes can simply be screwed off!

difficult part would be to cleanly cut out the eyes of the BR joker and somehow also cut out a piece of his hair..

I think ive asked you this before, but why not just get someone to repaint the Dx joker's head to look like the BR joker's head?

The face is built around the whole mechanism, it's not just a matter of drilling some eye holes. Sure you can remove the PERS system with the screws but there would have to be a properly aligned and machined cavity in the alt head. You could cast both heads, dremel cut and *possibly* patch a transfer of the face of one to the other head with the proper cavity. No guarantees and not anything that would be worth it, imo.

@ snoop: I'm one of the very select few that dislikes the lips on the DX one, to me the BR sculpt is the definitive version, besides that I was just wondering if it could be done, knowing how difficult it must be!

I do believe it shouldnt be hard to remove the pers from the DX though, since it *looks* like its just a simple matter of unscrewing the screws in the back of the device

I gotcha. But still, If I were you id try to get someone to mod the dx head the way you like it, (make-up,lips,etc.)

hmm well the paint wouldnt be the problem really, painting his skin isnt a problem for me, however, the eyes always tend to ruin everything when I paint something! So the DX eyes would really help me out painting a bank robber sculpt
