Question: Why is the Original Wolf Pred seemingly more popular than the Cleaner?

Is it possible to swap the cannon on the two? Just buy the dual cannon harness and put it on the cleaner? Wouldn't that make it essentially the same, display wise?

What everyone does is, they get the Cleaner ver. and then add a second cannon to it. The second one has a slot on the vest to carry the cleaner kit on his back, which the first vest does not have.

So basically you have to buy both of them

The whip is cool but my favorite parts of the movie was when he took the second plasma cannon and attached it to his armor. It is trademark WOLF! Every Predator has a trademark (except the original which itself is a trademark) and I think for Wolf, it's his dual shoulder cannons.

IF I can get the vest (dual cannons) from the first version, I should be able to place it on the second version with not problems?

Yes, but the cleaner kit won't attach to it... unless you glue it!

There's space for everything, but you'd have to relocate the clamp for the spear and "glue" the medi-kit in its place. I recommend using a pair of magnets instead though. That way you still have the ability to remove the kit.

I told Les last summer and I'll tell you all again. Use rare earth magnets to attach the cleaner kit to the normal armor.

with extra whip and shoulder cannon...

Shape and size and placement, I believe the cannons are the same on Wolf and Cleaner. The paint might be different or the weathering, haven't looked in a while.

Wouldn't be hard at all to add a second cannon to the Cleaner armor, provided you had a second cannon and mount. It would have to be a resin recast or someone who cannibalized their Wolf Or Cleaner armor and had one to spare and you got it.

I got a spare Cleaner Wolf with a second cannon I may think about giving up. Not sure yet though. But can't see the logic behind owning 2 Wolf Predators.

I finally got some preds on display. couple nights ago put together machiko. NICE. last night took it easy with original predator. EVEN BETTER. Tonight asembled wolf cleaner. I can see the appeal of these figs. What a great set of toys.

I have the original wolf with the most interesting parts of the cleaner kit version won on Ebay.

-The head is from the cleaner version with interchangeable mandibles
-The Medikit from cleaner attached to the back with magnets.(keeping both plasma casters)
- Base from cleaner versión
- Repainted plasma casters

I personally prefer the cleaner. LOVE the box!! I do wish for the dual plasmas though. Care less about the whip. I thought that was a foolish weapon choice for a Predator anyway. Too much of an adventurer Indiana Jones flare and not harcore Hunter/Warrior.
