For about 90% of products on the SS website the shipping will be about $25 (from a 12" figure to a PF)

Then when the package crosses the border you will have to pay HST + fedex fee ($10-15) + duties.

Or even better...
Their website, it gives you the shipping info before placing the order...

Not for international, unfortunately. They do however give shipping price on the 30 day notice.

I live in Canada to, watch out for import taxes. Sideshow uses FED-EX, they report exact value, of which you (Ontario resident) will pay H.S.T. on the value, plus customs fee (10-20$). Even if you use a gift card on an item the value of the pre-discounted price is used to calculate the H.S.T.

Sideshow's customer service is excellent as is the speed of shipping to Canada. Go forth and spend foolishly.:lol

I'm confused. Shipping to Canada is based on dimensional weight, right? Now, the estimated dim. weight on a certain product's spec page (the Abomination PF) doesn't match the dim. weight I get when I feed the dimensions of the product into a dim. weight calculator (the estimated dim. weight is 144lbs., I get 74lbs. when I feed the box dimensions into this page: https://www.scanscale.com/DimCalculator.html#. Why is this?

I'm asking because this is my first time buying directly from Sideshow.

Hi I am a complete noob when it comes to collectables. I live in the UK and I am trying to purchase items direct from sideshow. I have managed to convert all costs to pounds stirling and I have obtained the shipping cost from them also. My only concern is that I have no ballpark figure for the likely customs fees or taxes assessed by your government for importing said merchandise. Is anybody out there who has done this and can help?

Please email (or call) our customer service department with this question, as they can give you a much more accurate description than I ever could, as I do not work in either the shipping or the customer service departments :) Please also keep in mind that the dimensions on our site are estimates, as they are typically filled in before we have a final boxed production sample. Once they get the final dims, that's entered into our in-house accounting & processing system to calculate the actual shipping costs (which is why we sometimes can't provide firm shipping quotes until about 25 days before it arrives to our warehouse).

If you want an immediate reply but can't afford to call, you can fill out this form, which is a 'call back request' for our international customers: https://www.sideshowtoy.com/article.php?id=intlcallback
