why did u quit the first time?
Well, I realise I went too far... I take all the space in my little room very quickly, and in the same time my "social meter" was growing too. So I decided to switch my life from my room with toys to outside with new clothes, new body, etc. These figures were for me a way to grow up, when I sold my collection I "free my mind"...
Not quitting but losing interest.
Got a pretty full room that I'm happy with and prices be crazy.
Takes something special to tempt me now, like the CP P2 Bust.
Sold around £800 worth over the weekend and not even tempted to order anything new atm.
Yeah, great idea but I prefer to buy many little figures than a big piece. Anyway it can be a solution...
If your girlfriend has a problem with it, and money isn't an issue, then you need to rethink the relationship. You had the hobby before you met her, she knew it, so.....there shouldn't be a problem. I'm honestly so flabbergasted when this issue comes up.
Now if you two are living together and it's causing a problem financially, then that's a whole different thing.
Well, I think she's not the problem, honestly... I was out of the business when I meet her, I have just one or two stuffs but nothing to compare with my preview collection. It's just, she says she can't understand my "addiction", and I think that's the problem : I'm addicted. If I can't have all of them so I don't want any of them lol.
The difference is, now I love a woman, we have some plans together, so I cannot continue to build my life around collecting my childhood heroes...
Ah, it's so nice to write all that stuff even so it's not my first language, sorry guys, thanks for your answers.
I think I should rename my topic and ask : how do you center your collection... I buy what I found cool, I have my favorites but I can resist a nice piece...
