Cool. Looks like Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 won't be the only contenders for best console graphics of 2010/2011.

It'll be great to see Doom 4 on this engine.

Definitely one of the most impressive looking games at E3, Hard to believe these games are running on consoles.

Doom 4 will look absolutely disgusting, In a good way!

Just imagine what the fat zombies with their guts hanging out will look like......oh god, hang on a sec........:yuck ahhh that's better.

One thing that could make this game even better in my eyes is if the environment weren't so contrived and boring.

Does everything have to look all post-apocalyptic like Borderlands / Fallout 3 / Killzone?

This game looks bad-ass, but I agree that it's time to move away from the post-apocalyptic environments.

Am I the only one not impressed, seems a little jerky as far as the AI and theyre attacks. Open environments are cool but still linear alot of times. And its a very old concept. We'll see.

It is still very early code, the game isnt out until 2011!
Graphical glitches are to be expected at this stage.
A concept doesnt have to be new and fresh to be great niether.

WOW!
This might just be the best looking multi-platform game ever. It might even give Crysis 2 a run for its money and that looks insane!
Its hard to beleive both games are running on both the 360 and PS3.

a lot of people say the both machines true potential haven't been tapped due to developers using unreal engine mostly

That would make sense then, since i think the unreal engine is really overrated and doesnt push any system to its limits. Gears of war 1 & 2 were beautiful games but i dont think they maximized the 360's potential, nor did any unreal engine based ps3 title.
When i see games like this and Killzone 3 though....wow.

That's not true, Unreal engine is very powerful. There are some Unreal-powered games that don't look so good, but that's usually due to the developer rather than the engine, especially if it's a small developer.

Looks OK. Looks like Doom 3 but with wider spaces and obviously more light. What exactly will set it apart from all the other FPS's?
