Well, I was doing custom work for him. His mom contacted me and told me that he had a stroke.

Terrible to hear. I was curious so I did some googling and found a profile on a cure center forum for neuroscience and spinal injury. I'm assuming it was related. It also had his picture as his avatar which was nice to put a face behind the boardie. Despite not knowing him and my only extended conversation with him here was an epic battle, this type of news always brings you back down to earth from the care free tongues we let loose here. God speed jbinny.

He was wheelchair bound? So sad that this had to happen.

Some of his posts there are pretty sad to see all the sh&t he was dealing with. This one was particularly tough:

I don't know about anyone else, but 2010 has been one of the most emotionally trying years of my life... maybe even worse than 2006, when I first found my way into this chair. There have been entirely too many extreme highs and lows and I'm more than happy to flush the past year down the crapper and start fresh in 2011. - Jbinny

Lived just down the interstate from me. When he joined, tried to get a link up with a couple of local Freaks just to get to know, and although I assured him that his limited mobility would be no problem, he seemed very hesitant. I didn't push any further.

So very sad that he had to go so young.

I remember his nick here but haven't seen him around for a while. This is really sad,and only 25 too...
Rest in Peace Jacob.

Though I didn't know JBinny personally I'm saddened by this news.

My condolences and prayers are with his family & friends. Rest in Peace Jacob.

While we are mourning the loss of our friend, others are rejoicing to meet him behind the veil.
